  1. Although plenty of them they are scarce above VF. There is a decent one GVF on the LCA website ,just click on realised prices for the picture. They are the same as any 1863 but the last digit open as been discussed on this forum many times ,just type in the search box top right. Have you found a BU one
  2. Not sure what you mean there is nothing wrong with bidding four times ? People seem happy to pay around £20 for one
  3. 1854 Copper Penny. Recorded by Bramah 17a-All colons weak or missing. I have found to be extemely hard to find and dont think there are many especially like this one. Its a bit dusty and not the nicest looking but think may take along time to find a better one......If anyone finds an UNC one please let me Know Pictures to follow. £100 plus postage. Pete.
  4. Hi Guest. Nordle is outside doing the garden but shouted me to check the prices on ebay. Having a look you can buy them for £2 including postage. Hope that helps.
  5. Yes its Fake

  7. Yes its a scarce date ..........It is ebay and nothing suprises me with some prices for Rang.

  11. NGC do there own box also and are only cheap.
  12. Cgs sell there own Richard just phone them up and they will post you one i am sure.
  13. He has set up a new account and just a blatant attempt to try and rip someone off
  14. Check out the description of this 1933 penny 253170981766 Sorry i cant put the link up but worth a read Although nobody (hopefully)will fall for the bollocks he writes

  16. Yes........ Only just noticed an hour later you are able to translate the page.........
  17. "the route to getting it was tortuous*......... I dont know how you coped as his English is worse than mine and made me smile
  18. Hi Barnzy. If you have a show nearby i would go and have a look as soon as you get the opportunity. The dealer will be able to answer the questions you may wish to ask. Lots of coins of different years and denominations to view and have a look at (in hand) of which the grades will be alot more on the mark than the pictures and descriptions on ebay. Also type in the search button top right on this forum , anything you may be interested in has probably been discussed before. Welcome to the forum and happy collecting Pete.
  19. When i phoned yesterday as i couldnt log on i was told it maybe was because i was logging on to the home page. If i clicked on the auction tab and then log in it worked straight away. This morning as i had forgot i tried from the home page and it wouldnt work, then remembered clicked the tab and again worked. Just reading through the threads above and sorry if i am interupting ....feel like i am talking to myself
  20. Also what threw me is when i clicked on bid nothing happened as you then have to click on again to confirm it. It was like bidding on ebay not a problem if you are aware but i wasnt and caused a delay on my bid being accepted. With the hammer going down pretty quickly on some i am sure it must of happened to others and why yesterday he was taking online bids after the hammer.
  21. I couldnt get the live stream Rob with the sound running ,so had the saleroom site for the volume and bid through Baldwin at the same time although only one bid it worked ok Fortunately although the coin i bought was a halfpenny it wasnt the one you wanted. I would be pissed off also
  22. Farthings between 1897-1918 were darkened at the mint ,so as not to be passed over for a half sovereign. Its known as hypo.
  23. Not a clue really Mike I wrote down a maximum of £500 but as that was your bid i went one more
  24. Sorry if i put the price up a bit for you Mike as i was the underbidder
