  1. Sorry Rob / John as Mark had not had any replies since yesterday i just assumed nodody was interested in them and just giving him a couple of options.
  2. You will as you say get more selling them individually. However to get rid of them all quickly maybe try LCA who are currently taking submissions for an auction the first week in December although you will only have a week or so to contact them. Tennants is another one who seem to sell alot.....Not sure if i have spelt it right but another auctioneer for them. A dealer who may be interested who is sound is Andy at ...The Coin Gallery ,might be worth a call. Its up to you what you would accept and most of them there are lots of. Good luck
  3. I like to learn on here.....Going to say NO but i am always wrong
  4. £45 including postage. Pete.
  5. £40 including postage. Pete.
  6. IMO jester you will learn more from the rejected / details one than any returned ok. Its better to find out after only buying a couple Keep it for now ,study it and look out for the problem on any future ones you may wish to purchase.
  7. You need to get more with it Rob as cubing is the future
  8. Yes 16 seconds does seem a bit slow
  9. I have a 1907 Penny i bought off Matt (pic is on his site) which is on the pennies for sale thread. It has a small mark/gouge/scratch/flaw call it what you want on the obverse, although has IMO better lustre in hand than the picture shows. £45 including postage which is less than i paid for it. Pete. The no colon has gone but the 1903 open i still have £40 including postage with picture to follow.
  10. Yes really i had never heard of cubing.....if you had put ,mauling around with a rubik cube i may have understood. So these competitions i assume its how quick you can complete it. What coins do you collect thazz ?.
  11. Your proof penny looks to be 2+B as discussed on the other thread
  12. Your not that much better Jester your a hundred years out on both
  13. Yes Rob who has posted and mentioned sending him a message....rpcoins
  14. Not a clue But thazz is interested in it.
  15. Hi thazz and welcome to the forum. I would think not many have found them over the last few years although not impossible its unlikely to happen i would of thought. A quick question for you......What is cubing ?
  16. The short answer to that Mick is no. Better to do your own research by looking at auction results and speaking to dealers for grades / valuations IMO. Have you got one particular coin in mind or do you mean all of them ?.
  17. Its not about £ notes there are billions of them its about the fact you were not happy. I hope the hundreds of people reading this ask him questions should they wish to buy off him in the future. If you had just paid any postage costs they incurred that should of been the end of it and nobody worse off.
  18. Well i think or should i say know i would of done something out of principal. You were sold something not as described and he told you he had received it back and didnt say the coin was received damaged etc. Dont know what the guy was getting the police involved for (they would of been on your side) and he should of just refunded you. I agree you should be able to trust dealers or have some trust in people in general.........It was not your own fault. More the fact the dealer was bang out of order if what you have typed is true. Plenty people you can trust but obviously he /they are the small percentage. I need to stop typing now as its annoying me
  19. As you had only had the coin a couple of days why would they not just let you return it ?.
  20. Sorry Richard yes and thats why i mentioned described in the post above.
  21. Lot 113
  22. Hi Ian. That one is currency although a nice coin
  23. Yes nothing exciting Peter thats why i said it was a boring thread Although i have never seen one described as Proof in any collection apart from the Robert Gray -Thompson one DNW 10th DEC 2009 Sure there are plenty others for us Penny lunatics
