  1. There is also a doubled 9 1897 variety.
  2. If anyone is reading this The one listed without a picture on the Mark Rasmussen site is a F166........ i know as returned it and although he agreed he has not changed the description.
  3. Nothing exciting a 1908 F164...... i only bought it as you dont see many of them. Or maybe its just that i have a coin buying addiction
  4. They must of been busy yesterday Mike as one i bought arrived today
  5. Two 1944 pennies both UNC with lustre. Picture to follow to show the difference as one obviously not mint toned and scarce as nice. My pictures are not the best £50 for both including postage. Pete.
  6. I assume you have looked under a microscope Terry is it not just a double struck colon ?
  7. All you need to do Declan is put the pictures of the fake (copy his) next to a real one and you will see the differences from there the only other difference on all the years is obviously the date in the fake bun pennies Alarm bells should ring on 1864,69,71 and 1875H in high grade that are all over ebay.
  8. Hat Off He made no mention at all about the 1871 being a novelty or replica and had 5 bids from 5 different bidders he would of sold it if it wasnt for you.
  9. Yes.......
  10. One of my favourite sellers has listed an 1871 Penny Pisses me off as he knows its Fake.
  11. Is it not just a die clash ?.
  12. The 1940 single has gone so just the cgs ones 1927,1940 &1948. Pete.
  13. Coins arrived safely and thanks Matt. Be lucky and keep smiling Pete.
  14. The power of the forum soon sold after being put on here Will be interesting to see if the flaw shows on any others of the same F66 1874H as that was a decent grade.
  15. I have just noticed this thread and have one also. As the thread is a few years old wondered if the numbers have increased alot ?.
  16. I seem to remember alfnail doing a similar excercise with the 1844 penny of which he looked at a lot although i cant find the thread now with the pictures. The theory was exactly the same though.
  17. The two posted above are both nice for the money and good buys......... more importantly not £2K + for a cleaned / verd one
  18. Yes its one of those Mike were they are rare but i would not want one thats not nice to look at and personally would sooner have a gap
  19. Thank you i just need your adress please. The 1929 has also gone.
  20. The 1864 i would sooner have a lower grade one thats problem free. The cleaning and verd would annoy me and for that kind of money i would prefer to spend it on something else
  21. A few slabbed cgs in high grade. PM me for pictures please if anybody interested in any. 1927 Grade 82 £45 1929 Grade 82 £45 1940 Grade 80 £25 1948 Grade 82 £25 Price includes postage I also have a decent 1903 open £55 and 1940 single exergue £30. Pete.
