Thats a good one Terry compared with some at least on the REV the breastplate and lower part of the helmet show A lot of them have a weak OBV and can assure you there are much worse than that one.
Its also quite common for the top part RHS of the Y in penny to be very weak for some reason.
For what its worth Mike 1911,12,13 both F174 , F177 &14 you should be able to find quite easily with a good strike. The ones much harder are 1915,16,17,18 & 19 ,these are coins from 1911-1920.
Having a quick look Mike LCA have only sold one decent 1915 since 2005 ,so yes to find them in a high grade is difficult.
Sure one will turn up , although even the normal 1915 can be hard in UNC with a decent strike .
The 1916 is relatively common ,but the 1915 scarce IMO Mike
16 .....1 in 5
15......1 in 30.
Only a guess 🙂
Looking at CGS they have done 17 1916 and 2 1915 the 2 1915 i sent them both 🙂
I retired at 42 after having my own companies and moved to Spain.
Unfortunately i went beserk and now find myself on here all the time with a chronic illness 😮
Although it was all good fun at the time 😃
The biggest problem as i am led to believe is by signing for a package your accepting any charges and one courier only does this a week later on a seperate invoice.
If once you have the item you can claim a refund ,but are unable to do anything untill its in your possesion ,so a bit of a catch 22.
Alternatively if you dont sign the item is just returned to the sender.
Yes it happened to me again a few weeks ago .
Fedex are not interested as they just pass the money on.
If you go onto www.hmrc.gov.uk
Type in the search box custom duty on post ,there is a form to print off.
They were really helpfull when i phoned them up and as i am not the sharpest tool in the box, they told me how to fill it in.
The form gets posted to border force in coventry, atleast i think it was there as the wife posted it and although i have a copy she is not in to tell me where it is 🙂
Mine was with royal mail and dont know if that makes a difference but would still phone them up as they were really helpfull.
Yes i looked at that and thought the same so went onto the next one 😊
I also havent seen it though so i suppose its unfair to comment by going just off the picture.
Its a nice coin Peck. The hardest place to remove anything from is between the teeth ,so maybe at some time in its life someone has already tried andI would just leave it as it is.
I believe years ago they put some white rubber glue on the teeth untill it set hoping that peeling it off would remove most 😂
I dont think that is one of your best ideas Peck 😊 The idea is you practice with a cheap one ,not end up with something glowing or a different.colour.
Well he is willing to swap it for something 😊
I cant really think of anything i have got though , maybe i will have have a look in the rubbish bin.
I wonder how much there head must be messed up to even go to the trouble of listing them 😮
I think the thief will of been just as negged out as the owner when he opened the box , hopefully the owner got his insurance which would perhaps of been more than the true value and more use to the family.
Why on earth they put this on the news weeks later makes me think not much goes on in Plymouth 😉
