  1. Will tell you after i have met her tonight 💘😍😘
  2. This is not fair and bang out of order. I have just spent 10 minutes on the phone and been going through this part of the forum with a lady from ebay . If your reading this again Axxxxx 💘 ..... Can only try . Pete.
  3. Thats sad as a genuine bidder...........I am tempted to put a bid of £1,000,000.00 in so he does not buy it,but will probably only bid again when its relisted .
  4. I would always phone first as i dont like emails or text messages to try and find something out , but didnt think it was worth phoning America with what was probably a daft question The email reply was obviously a computer generated one with opening times and a telephone number ,but as i said not important.
  5. Dont start me off again Whats the bloody answer ?
  6. I sent an email asking the question and have had a reply with just there telephone number on Never mind its not important.
  7. No......Its quite normal for me and happens often
  8. GIVEN UP..........You nearly put me in a rubber room again on Saturday night 😮
  9. I just thought maybe someone on here may know but will do 🙂
  10. Was trying to alter a new post rather than the previous one
  11. Not much happening on here today 🙂 1913 2+B MS64RB...........NGC 3501417 - 032 https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/3501417-032/64/ Will start it off at £65 including postage and just keep reducing it ,bit like an auction but backwards Please post on here if you want it rather than message me ,which makes it fairer for people with more than 40 posts.
  12. Joking aside Dave i was going to send you a PM as never seen it before........Do you know how it happens please ?
  13. I think its just coincidence that yours (if the finish is correct ) and the crocker one / Richards described in the auction as a bright finish are both wide dates and just random and not intentional. I have had and seen quite a lot of the wider ones that were all MT from memory 🙂 The wider one though regardless of colour is much scarcer IMO
  14. You have better eyes than me Mike if you can see a linear circle . Like quite a lot of the coppers the top edge has had a tiny knock that probably hasnt touched the other and an edge bruise would sound fair. Yes Peter i think your being a bit picky but well spotted.
  15. I have just been asked what indicators there are for this and directed him to Richards site .However another i use aswell as the P in Penny to gap is the shield almost touches the teeth and on the normal one the gap is larger. Dont know if it may help someone else ,so thought i would mention it 🙂
  16. I purchased this 1897 High tide about three weeks ago which arrived today. I have not noticed before that the price i paid has been added on to the information.......Latest auction appearances. Does anyone know please how this has happened ,such as has it been added by the seller or does it pick up the details from the ebay sale. https://www.pcgs.com/cert/82915544 Pete.
  17. That is all they could really go off and confirm ,thanks Jon. It also makes me feel that the Hypo was put on after the coin was srtuck.
  18. No ,your right Blake ..The one i have that is NEF was £40 described as a wide date unrecorded and dont think many collectors are interested in the date widths. CGS have 5 widths recorded for 1890 with the one Scott pictured being different from the 1 to the 9 ,although the full width is the same as the narrow date.
  19. There is also an 1890 wider date that is unrecorded and not in Gouby. Just thought i would make you aware Rob 🙂
  20. If your not bothered about looking at them often ,maybe try just paper coin envelopes in an airtight box kept somewhere cool. It could be anything ,such as being kept next to a radiator wont help . Sure you will get it sorted .
  21. They seem to have just toned due to the air , temperature or light as only the OBV which will happen and the reverse being flat it wont effect the same. Are they in the light or covered up and if so can air get to them which may of even attracted damp or sweat ? I remember seeing a collection at a dealers a couple of years years ago of half crowns that had been taken in by someone in a wooden cabinet and a lot of them were the same. Its normal for coins to tone if just left open to the air or light but seems to be happening very quickly.
