  1. I should of read Daves earlier post So its really for people who will be sending quite a few . Then as you slab i.e. 5 they knock it off . Anybody who wants to send just a couple may have to go through an agent/someone else.
  2. Sorry Jaggy your post was not showing when i replied Thank you .
  3. I am still confused ,so i have to pay £499 to grade a coin...........are you sure as keep reading that on here ? £99 to use and access the site is correct as i have paid. I am freindly with everyone
  4. Well i am strange and love it Peter. Can you /someone explain the £499 as maybe its confusing me ?.
  5. Hi Stephen and welcome If you have not got them it wont have to matter I am sure there will be someone ,perhaps on here who can give you an up to date written price for your insurer.
  6. I am 100% sure your right dave and agree with everything you say .
  7. Its more to do with being ethical. I dont like what some sellers do as much as anyone else but to put someones mobile with derogatory comments does not seem right. Think the numbers especially the mobile could of been pasted over. Unfortunately we live in a world surrounded by some weird people and on a public/open forum it only needs one to read it. Only my opinion....atleast you did not put my number up If you think its ok that is up to you as your post.
  8. You miss the point Dave people search for things on the internet on there own accord. Telephone numbers may not be shown unless at the descretion of the owner.
  9. World ending post........ Think i need to get out and go for a walk but not with a board round my neck shouting
  10. I remember a block of about a hundred 10/ notes being sold on ebay a few years ago. They are scarcer in large groups as obviously banks gave out larger denominations. The buyer relisted them not long after and i felt really happy as i got them for a lot less and at a cheap price. I paid straight away but the day after he refunded my money and sent me an apology as why putting them in the envelope he had knocked a cup of tea on them........ Pete.
  11. Wouldnt matter if there were problems or the WORLD ended he wouldnt of sold it at a loss.
  12. Started the bidding at £1 with no reserve.............Wind your neck in. Sold for £218 .......Stretch your condom. Wouldnt even have the patience to watch them
  13. Not got a clue Matt as i wouldnt buy them in the first place and have never sent one. If it was an error though i assume it would be graded as normal if damage from the mint and just listed with all the other errors.
  14. Well after going on about the spot the coin was rejected for Field Damage Will look at the coin when i receive it back as by getting coins rejected i learn more than the ones ok. That is one of the reasons i have sent them to cgs ,not just for the grade but the condition. Fortunately i sent another 1918 that was ok and graded 82 so happy with that one . Pete.
  15. Not the nicest looking penny but one i will always keep. Its the actual coin that was used to illustrate OBV 10 in the Michael freeman book "The victorian bronze penny ".
  16. Dont do that Peter........i have done five week tomorrow without a mouthfull
  17. Think it might be easier to just PHONE them Scott. When i had a problem a while ago they answered straight away ,they were in Ireland and sorted it out .
  18. I didnt expect joyce to win although he won the first round and the second could of gone either way,he could not of done anymore. Rob as far as were is everyone........I am always here
  19. Looking at the cost of flights between 10.00am and 3.00 pm , if i had some that were valuble or was a dealer with a lot think i would just take them.
  20. Thank you for your reply badgerap
  21. Apologies for the photographs I know not many people are interested in them but can only try on here as unable to identify it properly. It appears solid and although its a bad photo that is the colour, its 4 gr and definately obverse B in the Tony barter book. Just to see if anyone has seen one the same. Pete.
  22. I have not received the coin back yet and so only assume the rejection was for corrosion from the spot. Being familiar with... coin in progress... on the site i am sure its been rejected but the reason only given once put in plastic .
