  1. Another true story. I sponsored a kids charity night and had a table with a guest....We got tony wilson. He was really good company and a really nice guy. He asked had anyone got any questions. MY mate said yeah" why have you got so much money and a scruffy bastard" even him and the rest of the table laughed at that one all night RIP.
  2. Tony wilson was a major partner dead now . Also owned factory records which was the main manchester record label at the time
  3. You got the love....Hacienda Classical ........Keep smiling all time classic and the words just blow my head
  4. Definately spot on for eating and yes quality. Although i am not adverse to killing things i definately could not kill a deer Bit contradictory.....but a lovely animal and especially nice to see in the wild. I must have a soft part to me Hope you were not treating him for being a random nutcase Jerry
  5. Nice to see them. As you know Rob its pretty quiet were we are and seen a couple. but still strange to have one in your garden
  6. I have been thinking about this since talking to Paul a week or so ago and posted earlier. Think once i have bought one it does not do anything for me and i just move on to the next. Its only a coin ,something i wanted and hopefully nice to own but nothing else. Pete.

  14. I dont even have most of mine to look at Personally i like the chase and filling gaps .......looking for them. I then move onto the next as been put away ....sure everyone is different.
  15. Believe me...we had one in our garden not long ago only a young one. Must of come in why the electric gates were open,a lovely animal and i was concerned as it was getting anxious trying to get out. Nice to see in the wild in manchester ......
  16. Only my opinion but have looked at the photos and i dont think thats dipped. The blemishes etc have not come out and think its more lighting with the photo. Although the experts have disagreed .....i am not sure. Still a nice coin though Pete.
  17. Sent you a message of which you may want to consider
  18. I would just get it reslabbed and put in auction with a sensible reserve and get rid of it...... The number of half penny collectors who will spend a few quid is better being left to an auction house and left with them to maximise the money. Maybe as PCGS slabbed Heritage may be an option.
  19. The royal mint letter would give some details and not just say sixpence.
  20. Yes Jamie you are like me a penny loony. You have one 1862 and still buy another
  21. I would think you cant sell what you dont own and in this case had to be returned. Its like any back to back unless you have the authority to sell on someone elses behalf your an agent etc you cant just sell something that does not belong to you
  22. Good afternoon and welcome. Hope your not one of the penny loonies Pete.
  23. Hi Duncan. Have you got a picture please sounds like a Brockage. If not a picture what year is it ?.
  24. Thats a no brainer must be re slabbed...maybe they will do it FOC. The benefit is they are not going to change the grade,i would send straight away making a valued point that it was not attributed before
