  1. Maybe enter a set or coin in ebay. Look at completed listings and see what average prices they have been selling for recently.
  2. Hi antique and welcome. Which coins are you interested in ,lets see some pictures as not had many posted recently. Excuse me but i am a bit thick........I'll be aquainted.......whats that all about
  3. Posting on here definately helped the seller get rid of them declan...sure the other you bought will be spot on aswell and a good buy
  4. So long as your happy declan
  5. Go on Mike.........Press the button you know you want one
  6. The power of the forum......or declan has just bought another
  7. I was only joking Mike and if declan is happy he can repeat the post all day if he wants
  8. declan.......Have you got a nervous twitch or something why do you keep posting the same ?
  9. Parcels do turn up of the same denomination that have been put away. About two years ago over twenty 1841 Pennies were all graded highly and were apparently found in paper. This was believable as you could still see print on some as most were full lustre. Oh and by the way........We heard you first time declan........
  10. The most important thing is.........What do you think ?. If you could see them in hand and all as good i would probably buy them all........Its ebay and if it goes PETE TONG you only have yourself to blame. The seller has atleast another nine and the one you purchased is really nice but are the others ?.
  11. Thank you for letting me no Paul
  12. Thank you for letting me know it had arrived and your happy. Pete.
  13. Its a shame its now at this kind of money for something thats RANG
  14. Now online for anyone interested
  15. Come on Pete wind your neck in F41.......
  16. Seller that drives me mad as your aware Jerry a lot are wrongly attributed and that many i am sure he must know ,although i admit to buying one off him a few weeks ago .
  17. As you say in your above post Prep everyone is different and has different opinions weather its grading ,cleaning etc. Its not a case of me or anyone else being shot down on here more to do with someone else giving an opinion . In a lot of cases coin knowledge cannot be learned in a few weeks/years and thats why i am always on here as only been collecting about four years myself. Some on here have been collecting for years .......in some cases lots of years One thing i will add is copper pennies are best left alone (although suffer the most problems IMO ) as almost everything you do will show from my tests over a few months a couple of years ago. I just buy ones i am happy with and prepared to pay more..........although not a lot more Be lucky and keep smiling. Pete.
  18. Yes they will weigh less but would not of thought that much maybe a gr but am only guessing. Sure someone may no ,why is it realevant if the coin is only fine is it one thats copied ?.
  19. A quick look and should be 14.1gr and the same for every year. What does yours weigh ?.
  20. Thanks Paul. I will post on Monday.
  21. Yes that must be on a par with the daftest thing i have seen To put twenty new coins in a slab, you cant even see them.
  22. £65 if going to a collector and not for resale
  23. Yes i got one yesterdayand a well put together catalogue and probably the best i have seen. It does make me wonder how cost effective it is as there is nothing in it for me and must cost a few quid. Its a shame really as mine has gone in the bin.......maybe i should not of said that as they probably wont send me another . I have told them previously though what i buy as dont want them just wasting them and suppose i cant do anymore.
  24. The 2005 Sovereign looks terrible IMO
