  1. This sounds a really good oportunity. 1. The comments are they overgrade....... ....i need to sell a few. 2. They dont reject many and are happy for coins to have VERD/CORROSION/EDGE KNOCKS....etc. 3. Everyone in America loves them 4.Turnaround is quick......... 5. Heritage will put them straight in the auction.........Good % deal 5. They dont bother about varieties .......even if you tell them......... Mine are currently on there way and will be sold through HERITAGE soon. Maybe i can find someone to buy a couple. Fingers crossed. Pete.

    Silver 2p

I have kept a couple of silver / bronze decimal and would be happy to sell them westminster for £300 Or maybe i should email the BBC and tell them i have just picked one up as i was busking in Manchester. Think the story might get on the T.V. and use Bad Example (jon) to act the scene out.
  6. Forget the pattern at £76K I have been told the true 1933 penny for sale in the nearby Heritage auction . Can see that making a couple of £ in America in a PCGS slab.

    Silver 2p

He thought the 2P was a fake and so took it to his bank to be destroyed. What a load of tripe.
  8. Yes thats what i meant ,the forked tips are not IMO worth looking for unless you had a few already that you wanted to check.
  9. I have those Three but the difference is so small you would stuggle to tell from a picture.

  12. Thats just the duplicates Ian. Guy has a few pennies also under The Coinery
  13. Not sure if Guy is busy Ian as he always is. If you can log onto cgs its all the pennies under TC COINS that Guy is selling. Pete.
  14. Consider any grade Just missed a 1966 in brass in the copthorne collection(in a cgs slab). The others might be a little harder
  15. Another seller who gets on my nerves.......OUT OF ORDER
  16. A lot are common and can be picked up cheaply if you only want a couple of examples.
  17. Sorry could not edit the post. The book is by Tony barter. Bimetallic model penny.
  18. Reading another Model penny book by Kevin Barter. I noticed at the beginning a dedication was made to another forum member. Someone else who has always answered my questions on pennies and recently the models. Thanks Gary ......another HAT OFF
  19. Keep smiling Peter....another forum gent Although a sometimes daft one...........would not have it any other way
  20. I wasnt sure were to put this but a top bloke on the forum. Over the last twelve months os so a forum member has helped me so much with copper pennies and varieties...Bramah etc. Recently i have started to purchase a few Model pennies and again his knowledge has been invaluable. This morning i received a signed and numbered copy of.....Rogers-Toy money in the post a rare book. Not only that it was not expected and he wont accept anything for it. A true gent and thank you.........CHINGFORD . Pete.
  21. Noticed ladbrokes have priced England up at 8/1 to win outright. That must be the worse bet ever and to short..........people still have there sentimental bets
  22. Glad your happy Paul..........I thought it was a good one
