  1. Vicky is the expert on these so 55 and dippity dip sounds spot on .
  2. Not over the top for a scarcer date. I can understand streaky lustre on some dates and the fact this has it on both sides. It was more just showing on one side so much on the previous posts that seemed strange. They are not the best looking coins.

Its not far off Dan probably closer to EF you should be able to get a really nice one with full lustre for about £40- £60, If thats a bit expensive the proofs of the same year are cheaper.
  4. Yes london/cgs will be there and accept submissions. Ask for Semra
  5. How much is this 1992 10p brian ?. Please dont tell me 11p
  6. Thank you. I have heard of the others but the 1992 10p i saw on another thread recently is that rare and how much do they sell for ?.
  7. Just a guess
  8. Not having a clue about rare decimal coins. Is there a list of ones that are sought after ?.
  9. If its not rejected what will it score 78 ?
  10. Also CGS will re slab a coin that was attributed to there old grading. 78 is now unc so would reslab just showing the number not AU they used to be more harsh than they now are.
  11. Not having a clue about them, was the 50p withdrawn for some reason . I cant understand why they are so expensive/rare.
  12. Good luck John and hope they all sell
  13. Just read your earlier post so assume not
  14. Thought they were both rare are they yours Rob
  15. Seem to remember Chris sold the 50p aswell that the seller has ?.
  16. Have another look Jaggy can buy a nice sixpence with the profit
  17. Its the 2P that is scarce jaggy with the NEW PENCE. I notice the seller has the other rare 50p aswell. Looking over the ones that have sold recently they are obviously sought after.
  18. Never heard of that Matt , looks weird. If its part of the mix why has it not affected the obverse ?. Might be a daft question but never seen one before.
  19. Dont know anything about the coin but a fantastic picture
  20. I doubt it David ,knowing the seller.
  21. Better to have one in a low grade Prax than not have one at all
  22. Sorry your the expert and value your opinion ,i didnt want to interupt a thread . I just posted as your comments appeared a bit biased and wasnt sure what you meant. As you state you stick to what you know and are happy with. The thing that surprises me is someone with all your knowledge and never going to sell them for 35 years why you get them slabbed in the first place. Pete.
  23. Another good article in this months issue 1920-27 Bronze. Hat off peck and well worth a read
  24. The comments are about a coin and thats all. Without experts such as Rob giving an opinion i would never learn anything. Comments should be made and not taken personally ,if i posted a picture of a coin and someone thought it was enhanced i would prefer to know. Better to find out by someone giving opinions on pictures and that way we all learn Alternatively if someone disagrees it really is not a big issue.
  25. They prefer overdipped,lightly cleaned................Amazing
