  1. I doubt it David ,knowing the seller.
  2. Better to have one in a low grade Prax than not have one at all
  3. Sorry your the expert and value your opinion ,i didnt want to interupt a thread . I just posted as your comments appeared a bit biased and wasnt sure what you meant. As you state you stick to what you know and are happy with. The thing that surprises me is someone with all your knowledge and never going to sell them for 35 years why you get them slabbed in the first place. Pete.
  4. Another good article in this months issue 1920-27 Bronze. Hat off peck and well worth a read
  5. The comments are about a coin and thats all. Without experts such as Rob giving an opinion i would never learn anything. Comments should be made and not taken personally ,if i posted a picture of a coin and someone thought it was enhanced i would prefer to know. Better to find out by someone giving opinions on pictures and that way we all learn Alternatively if someone disagrees it really is not a big issue.
  6. They prefer overdipped,lightly cleaned................Amazing
  7. Maybe one for you Matt. I know it was mentioned on another post and had happened to you. When i try to post something it brings up a quote from another thread and i cant remove it. Would also just like to say hat off for helping the site to run more smoothly. It might be me (probably) and sure i am doing something wrong . Pete.
  8. Have not got a clue why this post is still here but i cant get rid of it. Good to fill a gap Matt and not a bad one either
  9. He now has a mule although he does question himself

  12. Come on Dave say something
  13. Sorry rich but that made me smile
  14. Hi Robert and welcome. Not my thing sorry but the 1967 pennies were the last pre decimal and there are millions of them so unfortunately not really worth anything. Be lucky. Pete.
  15. Thanks Prax. Not really a website ,more something i can access my pictures with descriptions etc. Mainly as i dont keep the coins at home.
  16. After Britt ? Your on the wrong indicator Matt
  17. Yes it was only after reading your book David i started looking for them.
  18. Its making me feel ill just looking at them. Does anyone know how they end up looking like that ?.
  19. Your head has gone Matt ,good job its nearly the weekend ........cool to luck at They look absolutely RANG TANG
  20. Not an investment ,but happy to tick off the list.
  21. Well some lunatic bought the 1926
  22. Wouldnt be suprised to see it in the next LCA auction.
  23. Not my thing Paul ....But you have got the pictures right
  24. Cant see a problem although i maybe i am reading this wrong. Neil has done nothing but help and advise me over the last few years, but dont see anything wrong in the amount he is asking. He has wages , office , catalogues ,petrol plus tables at fairs and acomadation. ,viewing collections, auction lots all over the country etc. He may sell it for a bit less but his stock levels are vast and doesnt do it just for fun I maybe off the mark ............Although i know you dont come on the forum now Neil ...... but if you read this be lucky. Pete.
  25. I know a couple of people who have bid live over the phone but they were high prices ,dont know if that makes a difference.
