  1. Does anyone (else) have one of these? I'm have been finding it extremely difficult to locate these in decent condition (better than GF really) but I'm hopefully about to upgrade this one soon. Seems scarcer than merely 'Scarce' (ESC) to me!
  2. Nothing like as interesting, but nicely toned!
  3. This one is D&H 50a, edge "PAYABLE AT CLOUGHER OR IN DUBLIN"
  4. Apparently it's the arms of the Hardy family consisting of a shield with four hedgehogs and a hedgehog crest
  5. Newbie Birmingham Conder token with an early Monty Python shield
  6. I don't think it's a proof, they have thicker rims for one thing - here's mine for comparison: Also, MS61 (equivalent to AUNC) is a pretty low grade for a proof
  7. A few more toned silver coins that may have disappeared, or have not been seen by newbies ...
  8. A few of my very best that, like Rob, were on Photobucket at one time ...
  9. About time we had some more posts in this thread?

  11. Pretty little farthing newbie courtesy of Colin Goode (aboutfarthings)
  12. I case you are interested, I have this one I good let you have for £40 posted
  13. Yes, definitely the second coin for me, if only for the better strike
  14. And of course a turnover of £50k-£70k per year (if true) is NOT £50-£70k profit or income!
  15. Newbie from @Peter's neck of the woods (Ipswich):
  16. I can't see anything wrong with it either, not a 1734 but here's my example of the type:
  17. I see the seller has it as GVF/AEF. I have generally been happy with purchase from this seller.
  18. Continuing my mini collection of Cinque Ports Conder Tokens, here's my latest (Faversham - a limb of Dover) Why they have spelt it 'Feversham' I have yet to find out!
  19. Great, thanks Pete
  20. Can anyone recommend a particularly good one please? adthanksvance
  21. That's ridiculous, here is my best, that I had graded by LCGS I could display the coins side by side, but the many differences are glaringly obvious (at least to me!). My coins was graded 1 notch better than the one for sale in the forthcoming auction (CGS 70 vs CGS 65).
