  1. It seems like i can only upload 500kb in any 1 thread and not in any post, so cannot add the REV sorry
  2. I'd give the first Good Fine and the 2nd NVF to VF. The underlying type are clearly vsible on both coins although there was no Carolyn's IIII in 1808, i suspect that was a typo. Here is mine, this also has the host coin on both sides, this was grade as EF or better and prooflike by the auction house
  3. Too many people bidding on the same coins Bob ??
  4. I really think we need a section for pennies. There is so many different threads on this subject that it's taking over ther forum. 1 thread of pennies with sub sections. if I see another post about pennies I'll scream.......?
  5. If this is still avaliable i'd be interested Spink 145 12-14 July 2000 Ancient, English and Foreign (The J M Ashby Collection of English Coins)
  6. I think it would be firstly wiser to find out who both artist and engraver were considering the painting was done circa 1600 some 40 odd years after her coronation because the artist may not have even been born when the sovereign was minted.
  7. That's only less expensive because it's almost in 2 pieces. Check the line running right through the centre of the coin from the strike split. I can imagine someone buying that and it arriving in 2 pieces
  8. If you have the spare change http://www.amrcoins.com/coins-for-sale/HS-1433/
  9. I never saw anything for the date 1868, Peck does mention 1844 proofs though and if I remember rightly 1860? I'm out just now so nothing too hand
  10. Its a strange one as no proof from 1868 is listed in anything i have. I'm wondering if its a case of "if it looks proof then it must be" for NGC graders.
  11. Well, as we're talking about NGC attributions, what do we think of this unlisted proof? https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/3923084-021/
  12. I think the price of this coin has just shot up judging by the interested parties here
  13. Stewie is using his iphone, i see the exact Same thing As he does but i've explained too him to just sign in on the right and navigate from the left Hand side menu, but the problem obviously exists. i also use an app called ipboard which you can list multiple forums and click on which you want, this currently doesn't work with this forum
  14. Is it for coins or just a Set of drawers, either way it's a cracking piece of furniture.
  15. I signed in from the right hand side 3 stripes but after signing in it says the same thing, after playing around I found that navigating to a topic it works (I've told Stewie) but it can be. Confusing
  16. This is what me and Stewie both got
  17. Stewie asked me to post this as he cannot get on here Tried posting this in 'new forum' on a number of occasions...if you are able to get on there I'd appreciate it if you could post for me! ? OK, SO different, I think I might just back-seat this one until you 20+ year-olds bash it out between you! Oh, and for anyone unable to get on ( though you won't see this, of course), don't use your old shortcuts to get here! This is why I've taken so long to show up. I've been using desktop links...they don't work anymore! Hey, just in case...have a great Christmas everyone! ?
  18. Lol, I just got myself a 55" curve screen HD smart TV, it's like being at the pictures.
  19. Yours is of Charles I Nordle, Stewie wants a different one, I'm sure I have one of these somewhereHmmm nope, I have Seaby "Notes on English Silver Coins 1066-1648" Vol 1
  20. [chas URL=http://s277.photobucket.com/user/azda68/media/Forum%20coins/P5250501.jpg.html]
  21. Anyone else having problems? Happened a few times today
  22. Because the forum had some sort of error I couldn't post for a couple of minutes. Hey-ho
  23. Both 6+G, a bead width surely cannot be offered As another variety and become finest known, thats just crazy or money making Crazy...yes possibly but that depends on the individual who is buying it.Money making i dont think so and neither attracts a premium on the CGS chart. The thing is in fairness if a coin is referenced thats what they will slab it as , although a few have gone unnoticed. Funnily enough i've never Seen a Gouby reference on their Labels for pennies, i have seen a Spink or Freeman Reference though
