  10. Rob there is not a list as such ,so yes you need to be able to access the site.
  11. Not to far away but Colin Cooke in manchester. Maybe give them a ring and ask for Lee
  12. Although the pictures are not as conclusive as the blown up pictures of your own........ CGS have a variety described as ........1851-03 second R in brittaniar over thinner higher R. I would assume that it must be the same variety. Well spotted and a good find ,both the N just appear recut, although i dont look at half pennies and may be wrong Again it must be worth comparing / overlaying with a different R.
  13. Had some mad adverts then...... although i remember that so must of been a good one When is it from the early seventies at a guess ?. Just noticed at the top of the clip 1973 ...must of made me realise if i needed a nice bird ........i needed to learn to swim

  23. If you go in london coin auction website ,then click on prices realised enter 1863 shilling. From that it will bring up pictures and the prices they sold for without the premium. Just had a quick look and they list it as a rare date although not my thing. Not sure on price either ,as you dug it up not the best condition . Be lucky. Pete.
  24. Sorry to go slightly off track but why are so many people buying the £1 coins for about £15 ?. Millions will be available soon and all will be BU ........or am i missing something
