Also, the 2 looks a bit suspicious, with a definite vertical change in colour to the left. Given the expertise with which machinists can drop a 3 into the last digit of a 1933 penny - often with little or no sign of disturbance - it's not too big a stretch to think it could be done with a 2, especially given the monetary value involved (reworked 1933s only fetch a few hundred..). Martin's negative picture is of interest too.

On the other hand, if the only "no H " specimens that aren’t that die combination are extremely worn, then it's too much of a coincidence to think that no better example exists anywhere; I'm happy to believe the H on these has worn right away.

Someone could be about to be badly burned. I think we should send her a PM saying she should end the listing or else.

Not surprised - it must be as rare as the 1933, if not rarer!

That's where my own design of database comes into its own. I began it in the mid-90s - before that it was in a little book, where the dates before early 90s were just the year. I'd be lost without my database, but it has many backups including a couple in the cloud. -

FWIW I've seen many many wide dates in that series and don't regard them as significant. However, I've not seen an example of 1895 before, so yes, scarce indeed! -

Horses for courses. I find my iPad is great for TV and radio, music and audiobooks, email, quick notes and reminders, browsing, taking photos, etc. But Photoshop and database management, even proper word processing, have to be on my Mac, there's no tablet software that's as powerful (yet). -
Pfffft. THIS is the one you want... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/255045123269? I mean, how often is Half A Crow offered on eBay?

That's all very true .. but if they said 7.5 cm of rain instead of 3 inches, then you'd know it REALLY pissed it down!

Restoro looks like the Windows equivalent of CleanMyMac, who sponsor several You Tubers, but which other experts say to avoid like the plague as it CAN cause severe problems on some machines. -

You do empty your browsers cache from time to time? If not, they will slow down... -
The 'traditional established and viable' system only applied to the old imperial scales, and those haven't been manufactured since the 60s or early 70s. I'm not a Luddite and I have no problem with "we're now metric, get used to it". However, I *AM* against heavy-handed bureaucratic methods, and feel they're only appropriate where someone is - for their own personal reasons - waging a deliberate 'war' against something accepted by society at large. At least Luddites were fighting for their jobs.

OneDrive uses your network, and is 'always on' IIRC. I stopped using the app for precisely that reason. If I want to use OneDrive I'll login to my account via a browser, do what's necessary then logout. -

Even then it's only boring 1p and 2p coins. 20p only goes back to 1982, everything else is no older than the 90s.
