Somebody at work got very confused about this the other week about an invoice from a USA company. They thought that 02/10/20 was the February 10th of this year. I had to point out that the year was wrong. I did laugh.
I doubt if the "Honest person" was bidding for the coin. It looks like a four figure price coin from a dealer, if fit was for sale in a shop. Unfortunate.
How the hell can they grade that MS64? It clearly has wear on it. It is disgraceful, and blatant to anybody who actually looks at it before buying it just on the grade.
Nice coins in all of the pictures here. Just a quick observation, the top left lion is not as good as the others on all of those coins. Has anybody got a 1923 halfcrown where it is struck up properly? It seems like there might have been a striking issue.
