  1. Well at least it has an 'H'. Just imagine if it did not...
  2. There was a coin at a Spink auction a few weeks ago that only showed one side of a coin. I think that it was an 1826 proof penny, so not a cheap coin. Just seemed a bit strange to me.
  3. Very nice. What would the cost be today I wonder?
  4. Not actually 'Unique' is it. R4 in E S C. Very nice coin though.
  5. Well i failed to win any of your lots, but only because the three that i bid on did make good prices, so i hope that all of your lots did well👍
  6. Indeed. It still looks like a cast, as mentioned before.
  7. Somebody at work got very confused about this the other week about an invoice from a USA company. They thought that 02/10/20 was the February 10th of this year. I had to point out that the year was wrong. I did laugh.
  8. I would have guessed pf66, but i agree with sword.
  9. So one of the 50 pence coins is dated 2020. Is this an error, Or just last year's coin i wonder.
  10. I am sure that The Royal Mint would be gutted if everybody that they alerted did buy another set, just to see the difference.
  11. They are from Liecester, i wonder if that is near Leicester? Anyway, asking a crazy price as you said.
  12. Sounds like an A1 mess up to me. Honestly, not putting enough holes for the medal is a bad mistake.
  13. Your pictures are so much better than the "Proffesionals", who should do a better job photographing. Well done on getting such a lovely coin.
  14. That is very interesting Richard. I would definitely hold onto it and see what comes to light. Could you show us a picture of the packaging?
  15. Oh really, i had better check my 1887 halfcrowns and double florins, cheers.
  16. That is a commendable study of 20 pence pieces.
  17. Hey! Enough about Norfolk, thank you😐
  18. I doubt if the "Honest person" was bidding for the coin. It looks like a four figure price coin from a dealer, if fit was for sale in a shop. Unfortunate.
  19. The phrase "We will give it 110% effort" Now that really Is not possible, is it.
  20. I did win two lots at decent prices, but missed out on four others. LCA has some nice coins soon, so hopefully a win or two there.
  21. That VIP Crown, lot 229, does look stunning, unlike the Crown in the VIP Set.
  22. I did see a VG or thereabouts F8B sell for about £300 on eBay last weekend, but surely there is no way to tell what dies were used on "The slightly worn coin". 😁
  23. How the hell can they grade that MS64? It clearly has wear on it. It is disgraceful, and blatant to anybody who actually looks at it before buying it just on the grade.
