  1. That might come in handy, thanks for that info.
  2. Trial piece? Trident touches teeth.
  3. The 1668 and 1845 crowns are scarce I would say, and worth a decent amount too.
  4. Oh yes, that is the best numismatic pennies website by far.
  5. The Spink 'Coins of England' has colour pictures of lots of the Victorian bronze penny Obverses and Reverses, very useful. The latest one I have is 2022, but they have shown these pictures for many years.
  6. That is good. Freeman will keep you occupied for a long time.
  7. £7 sounds ok to me, even with the holes.
  8. Michael seems to find Rarities before anybody else. His website is very good.
  9. That Is a good question. The portrait would be very decent, apart from the rubbing. The legend though looks pretty shabby. I can only guess that the grade could be as low as au58, but probably advertised as ms63 or similar.
  10. These George iii crowns are my favourite coins.
  11. If you have a 1983 with new pence, then that would be worth a lot more.
  12. If I found a Harry and Megan 50p I would just use it, even if it was worth more. Terrible people.
  13. I have not got, or seen one of these either. It might exist I guess, but who knows?
  14. Then when it sells for 30,000,000 yen they will say that it went for way over it's estimate.
  15. Was that the sale with several florin Proofs in it? Yes they were very high prices realised.
  16. I was looking at ozjohn's example. Silly me, that ebay one is crappie.
  17. Wow, you are harsh. Looks pretty decent to me.
  18. What a beauty. Funnily enough I got a nice one from Baldwins a couple of months ago, but this is superb.
  19. That is a shocker.
  20. Hi there, I am no expert about these coins, but if that is verdigree, then it is at least partially copper, so probably not gold.
  21. Very nice find there, and very little toning by the looks of it.
  22. Let's face it, I would not believe it if a genuine 1933 penny came up for sale on eBay. Just so rare, surely auction would be best?
  23. That does not like right at all, luckily.
