  1. Some shill buyers there by looks of it trying to falsely validate his stuff.
  2. They probably won't. I've been reporting all his stuff for about 12 months now. Terrible at his craft . He's no Billy & Charley that's for sure , least there stuff was passable lol.
  3. Fake siege piece. I've posted this guy up before. He makes his own stuff using precious metal clay then lists them as "Finds" https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Scarborough-Silver-Siege-Piece-Coin-Hammered-Metal-Detecting-medieval-saxon/183585451386 And what are the chances of him having two ? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Silver-Sixpence-Siege-Piece-Coin-Hammered-Detecting-Find-/183585365405
  4. Hi Luca First off I'd just like to say i cannot help you with saying if it's geniune or not. What you would need to do is find out the weight of a geniune coin and weigh your one and see how they tally up. If it is a geniune coin it would of been minted around 18 AD. Looking around on this site it looks like a group 3 coin i think. Have a good look around on that website as somewhere on there will be weights for them i think. Stu. Tribute Penny
  5. Gollums trolling the PM 🤣 https://youtu.be/Isgt0VBxJa
  6. I've lost complete trust and faith in all parties and politics over this shambles. If it gets cancelled like it looks as if it's heading that way i think people are going to start voting for the underdogs or the populist candidates to piss Labour & the Tories off who have made a right balls up of this in my opinion. Looking around on Youtube there's people screaming for civil war and treason charges , lifelong Tory voters swearing they will never vote for them again and vice versus with Labour voters. This has done a massive amount of damage to faith and trust in politics and politicians.
  7. Even got a neg for trying to mug someone off with it previously. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Anglo-Saxon-SILVER-Kings-of-Mercia-Coenwulf-796-821-Weight-1-19-gr/153293295288
  8. Hi Dave Welcome to the forum. Here's an excellent website for identification of early long cross pennies. Early Longcross Penny Identification
  9. Cast crap! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Obs-Newark1946-Coin-Hammered-1646/113414575485
  10. Likewise again. I may not always post daily but i visit regularly, been watching this one. Definitely a scoundrel. Has anyone got any leverage with CCF? Might be worth posting it up on there as they have an excellent track record of getting these pulled.
  11. Couple of additions to my Maundy pennies.
  12. Its Spink listing in the 2015 edition of coins of Scotland , Ireland and the islands is 5062. Value in fine is £150 going upto £525 in VF. Nice find by the way.
  13. I got a bottle a few weeks ago from wizard coin supplies on eBay. Was expensive but it arrived fast and was fully tracked from USA right to my door. I haven't used it yet but will do this week as i have a Gunmoney Crown that's got a small spot of verd on it that needs removing. Distilled water and acetone did not work.
  14. My initial reaction also when it was first uploaded but i waited to see if someone else would comment in case i was being paranoid. It just looks too new modern.
  15. Both gone now. Nice one 👍
  16. So has the Commonwealth fake. Great work guys. Thanks 👍
  17. Thankfully at that price most buyers will be experienced collectors who can spot a cast fake. It is quite awful as far as copies go. I've reported it and the one above for all the good it will do. Heres another dodgy one that needs reporting https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Unresearched-1650-Commonwealth-Hammered-Silver-Coin-26mm-4-29g/292771820191
  18. I'd agree with that Paddy i think thats correct. 👍
  19. Am struggling too. I thought at first glance it was 4 down on the right but on closer inspection i can see thats RAUL and not RVLA.
  20. Arrrrr. Those dreaded bilge rats at the danbury mint be needing a good keel hauling!
  21. Definitely class 4a of Richard.
  22. Both crackers them Paddy. Love em!
  23. I reported that the day it came on eBay. They will do bugger all as they earn a fortune from their crooked sales. Here's another one flogging the same bluish toned rubbish. I wonder if they are all connected to the same person. That one me and jerry reported to trading standards is selling the same stuff. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/handsofhistory/m.html?item=332808006169&redirect=mobile&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562
  24. Ooomf. Deary me. What a wreck. Looks like a Lizzie halfgroat also.
  25. That got me as well Stu lol even though i knew what it meant from Rhuddlan coins. Doh! Glad you've got a solution Badger. Do look on that link i posted as it also covers contemporary imitations. It might also be worth contacting the owner of the site with images of it. He may be able to offer a bit more information on it. Best wishes Stu.
