The groat is Henry VII ( Canterbury mint ) the cut halfs a double patard of charles the bold.

The long cross is a class 3a1. Quite rare as not many were found in the Brussels hoard apparently (only 5) of that type. Information on the link i posted above. Stu.

The short cross is a Henry III. Looks like one of the class 7c,s by the portrait. Moneyer probably Nichole. That's as much as i can see.

Very nice Stu. Rare to see a farthing of that ruler in a good condition. I tend to shy away from them as they are so hard to find in good condition. Hats off a nice find!

New addition to my Short cross collection. Cheap at £40 inc p&p from California 😃 King John Class 5c - Struck roughly 1206 - 07 AD. Moneyer Beneit at London mint.

I did voluntary work once in a charity shop. Some of the other volunteers and staff were like vultures rifling through bags for the good stuff and keeping it themselves to sell online. I imagine it's commonplace in other charity shops.

Chichester was only operating for around a year 1205/06. That's why coins of that mint are rare.

Yes sorry. It's all mints. I think the dies were made at London & Winchester .

It's all class 5b3 coins. A broken punch was used to create the dies. Once you notice it you'll always be able to definitely tie a coin down to a 5b3 even if other details are worn or missing.
