  1. I love crayons but i couldn't eat a whole one 😆
  2. Why does the toning not match on both pictures? Seems odd. It's as if they were taken by different camera's. If it's true he's very very lucky !
  3. Great news Stu. Well done. Keep us posted on the book , i am always on the lookout for quality books about Plantagenet coinage.
  4. Both Canterbury Long cross pennies. Ones by Robert the others Nichole. Both are later ones with sceptre. Try here for more information. They have a rough price list on there. http://www.henry3.com
  5. It does look new yes i agree. I couldn't say if it was fake though from the image. I suppose if it was in circulation not long before it got lost it could be like that. I think they were the accepted equivalent of a groat when whole so the half would be half groat.
  6. Nice work frank ! What made me think she was lying is that she said it was bent and her BF straightened it. There is no sign it was ever creased plus pewter tends to break when creased. Thats what made me think it was a crook , not sure why that was included in the description.
  7. The groat is Henry VII ( Canterbury mint ) the cut halfs a double patard of charles the bold.
  8. Has been told by people it's fake but isn't convinced! The spiels hilarious. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HAMMERED-ELIZABETH-1-SILVER-SIXPENCE-FROM-THE-YEAR-1562-TUDOR-MINT-MARK-PHEON/253532308810
  9. http://www.henry3.com/norwich---3a-to-3ab.html Pretty certain it's the second coin down on the list. OR ligated , pellet in the Z.
  10. The long cross is a class 3a1. Quite rare as not many were found in the Brussels hoard apparently (only 5) of that type. Information on the link i posted above. Stu.
  11. The long cross is Huge on Norwich. I am no good with classification of these. It's an early one with no sceptre.(class 3? ) Try looking on here for further details http://www.henry3.com
  12. The short cross is a Henry III. Looks like one of the class 7c,s by the portrait. Moneyer probably Nichole. That's as much as i can see.
  13. Very nice Stu. Rare to see a farthing of that ruler in a good condition. I tend to shy away from them as they are so hard to find in good condition. Hats off a nice find!
  14. I saw that. The commonwealth sixpence he flogged looked iffy , not right. He's definitely got at least one shill bidder working with him whose posting positive feedback. Either that or one very thick collector whose shelled out a grand on phoney coins.
  15. Probably a waste of time but please report this. Look at his feedback, he's making a small fortune from these "Siege pieces" or is he ? .I think we've reported this scumbag before on numerous occasions. He must be the luckiest guy on earth with all these "siege pieces" he's finding. Could be shill bidders also. It's the same buyers winning his stuff and the feedbacks really phoney and arse kissy possibly a fake feedback scam to sucker people into believing these fraud pieces are legit. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Newark-hammered-siege-coin/162959699520
  16. Another WRL shilling. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1653-hammered-coin/192486610867
  17. Reported Jerry! 👍
  18. Thank you. I've tried the contact approach and got threatened and abused so it's not something i am keen on. We must be doing something right as we got rid of the commonwealth wrl shilling i posted. Haven't tried the ASA yet! I hadn't noticed it to be honest.
  19. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AN-IMPRESSIVE-1562-ELIZABETHAN-SILVER-HAMMERED-THREEPENCE/253500167324
  20. We'd need to see it to put a value on it. Can you get a picture of it?
  21. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Commonwealth-Shilling-1653-Silver/273114613829
  22. I think after almost 10 years he's probably given up on this one 🤔
  23. Ebay just gets spookier n spookier by the day. What will people trade / sell for a £. Have they no morals? Probably dug up! What no provenance ! Good collectable condition with signs of wear! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-Ancient-Artefacts-Tooth-Barb-Tanged-Flint-Arrow-Head-Scraper-A122/382411154514
  24. It has i know lol. I thought that. It's more well travelled than me 😁. It's better to be repatriated than deported 😅.
