I've had no problems. No idea what that code means.

This is happening on my mobile! The strangest thing is if I use one of my old pre-dec. opened tabs and refresh it, it refreshes as normal, whereas clicking on my shortcut I get this:

Ah, just got a fix…it looks like there’s been some updates or other?

If you’ve got a tab opened that’s displaying correctly, or click on the home link or pre-dec. link on the broken page, and then re-add it to your home-screen, everything should work as normal…hopefully :)

The font and layout is almost like it used to be when computers used DOS - say the early noughties, before windows appeared.

Reminds us that we’ve come a long, long, way since then…I think? 🤔

Windows appeared in the 80s! And the first useful version 3.1, was 1990?

I had the error screen for over two weeks (on three different PC desktops, in two different locations and on three different browsers), but today for the first time it all works again. I even tried to follow links from the Predecimal.com shopfront and links from Google searches, all to no avail. God knows what happened. I do hope it doesn't happen again. Can @TomGoodheart confirm all is now ok?

I had the same problem too and wasn't able to get to the site for more than 2 weeks. It didn't work on my laptop or my tablet. But the site has been working for me since yesterday.

The text based sign in page I've had recently finally disappeared the other day and now there's a new graphical version. 👍

It's happening again today to me on all my computers and browsers. Same "low graphics" homepage and similar error message (server or configuration error has occurred) but a slightly different code :

Sorry, there is a problem

Something went wrong. Please try again.

Error code: EX1032

I have sent an email to Chris Perkins @Chris Perkinsto alert him.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I checked myself just now and all looks normal to me. Was it a temporary glitch or does it still look wrong to you?

No - still all wrong.

It was working fine last night, but not at all today. As I say, I have tried two different computers and three different browsers. What about that error code EX1032  what does that mean?

Here's a couple of screenshots to show what is happening. Much like what happened at the top of the post back in January, only a slightly different error code:

All appears to be well on iOS - hope you get it sorted, so frustrating!

@Chris Perkins It has now returned to exactly the same error as back in January with the same code:

Sorry, there is a problem

Something went wrong. Please try again.

Error code: EX145

Curious that smartphones seem to have no issues, but I have now tried three different PCs, four different browsers and two different locations.

PLEASE can someone fix it!

I think these problems arise when a shadow copy of the website has a file that has become corrupted. When a website is used, intermediary servers around the world keep copies of core files to save having to keep going back to the host server. This also explains why updates to websites often take a few days to propagate all round the world.

The shadow copies are updated periodically, so eventually the corrupted file is replaced and everything returns to normal. I don't know of any means of forcing a refresh of shadow copies, so patience is the only option.

But it is always worth reporting in case the problem is on the host rather than a copy.
