  1. Yes they are not common inverted though and thats why i assume they did them this way. I believe if i had put this in auction the auctioneer would of listed it as genuine and would of sold for a premium 😀
  2. 1826 penny inverted FAKE. Thought i would share this just incase anyone sees one for sale and before they perhaps pay to much for one ,believing it to be genuine. I could not tell looking at one ,no signs of anything to the outside edge or inner rim ,right weight ,size , looks genuine. BUT i had two and found pictures of another ,they are all the same with the same bag marks etc and could easily be passed off as genuine if you are not able to compare with another. Similar to the 1905 Half crowns that were done in the seventies and look real but all the same.
  3. https://live.spink.com/lots/view/4-9RFQ1T/great-britain-george-v-1910-1936-variety-group-of-1913-pennies-f174-obverse-1-reverse-a- I am not sure which one the Rare F176 is 😃
  4. A young visitor in our garden yesterday , dont see many in Manchester especially during the day.
  5. Yes i agree ,i would not buy that as an 1854/3 looking at the picture. All it does is waste everyones time describing them wrong as the majority just get returned. The vendor not paid or the auctioneer left with a coin they then have to try and sell someone else.
  6. A nice 1797 Penny 10 Leaves NGC MS64 ,better lustre than i was able to capture in the picture ,without the normal contact marks.
  7. I think its more likely the Large rose he overpaid for when he bought it , it has been for sale over two years. The same seller has recently added one on his website in fine grade for £100 and the more expensive one maybe he bought attributed and just gave it a go. Some copper pennies sellers have found not attributed and not paid much for them ,its therefore much easier to sell them cheaply. Dealers who buy quite a lot may just take a chance and pay a high price for something considered rare / scarce hoping to sell it and just make a bit ,it doesnt always work.
  8. A couple just back from NGC both really nice in hand , sellers pictures who i bought them off. 1891 MS65 RED 1894 MS65 RB.
  9. Yes i use gloves to photograph mine.
  10. NGC get plenty wrong ,some more so than others. The coin label has now been changed and the coin not mine ,imagine getting this back 😂
  11. 1844 Plain tails DFF ,like most copper penny varieties not many about in EF or better. Not the best picture in the plastic 😀
  12. 1854/3 with the note from when Michael Freeman sold the coin on eBay ,i have folded the note over as has the original buyers name and address on.
  13. One just back from NGC MS65 and Scarcer year in high grade 1878.
  14. Yes , as you will know it was listed as a F118 and a F116 which is much scarcer.Although it was expensive , I have never seen a better one.
  15. 1883 Penny F116 ,Scarce in high grade NGC MS65RB.
  16. I think it is one , good buy.I had one I sold Dave craddock a few years ago that had plenty hair and at the time did not think much of it and didn’t take a picture.
  17. Yes i went in November although wasnt able to walk round much really enjoyed it ,had a bad fall since though so didnt make it on Sunday. Hopefully be ok to go next month again 👍
  18. Seeing these on another post wondered if anyone on here wanted the scarcer type. OBV 3 , I of Georgivs to tooth. £80 plus £7 posted Special delivery.
  19. I dont think NGC want this customer........... https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/6672546-013/65/
  20. It is Gouby Obverse M and Freeman Obverse 9. Richard who is a forum member has the really good website with pictures of the rare pennies you linked above ,maybe some of yours can be added 👍
  21. Maybe the confusion is looking at the Gouby reference rather than Freeman. Freeman 103 is Freeman OBV 9 which is 5 teeth between the R and the I of Victoria. Look forward to seeing your pictures of the rare mule ,infact any others that you are lucky enough to now own 👍
  22. No sorry ,it isnt ,maybe have a look at the website you have put a link for which explains why not. However the 1860 Mule have you got a picture of that one please ?
  23. 1826 Penny also just back from NGC MS65BN ,really nice in hand and again with a lovely tone.
  24. One i have just got back from NGC MS65BN ,lovely tone for a scarce year in high grade.
  25. A really nice 1893 over 2 Gouby BP1893B ,often wrongly attributed 😀
