    lots of good people will help on this forum ,i only buy pennies .I don t want you to make mistakes that cost you to much money and the best thing is get used to grading and read as much as possible. The british bronze penny 1860-1901 is available on michael gouby site michael coins well worth buying and reading his web site. The bronze coinage by michael freeman is the one main reference more commonly used and i would buy them both study and keep looking on the forum. Pete

    Peck. Yes that s what helped me so much and the reason why i asked were he lived .A lot of good dealers but nothing better than meeting them and looking at the coins Also some good dealers on line and auctions,just wanted to no what he was after buying. Pete

    The post was not meant to offend ,the coin in question is GARBAGE thousands available .It is not scarce and not worth anything more than face value.I am the first to appreciate errors and have a few but that is not one.Keep buying GARBAGE and be lucky coinery.Jordan keep posting and looking for a coin thats unusual

    Just feel that if it would of been c.g.s. graded then the price would of been considerably higher.I no most will disagree but why not slab for £25 and attract a bigger market.

    Interesting to no prax .After having a look on the c.g.s. site i see they have also rejected one ,i wonder why as unable to find out on the site.

    Your reply makes some sense rob.But surely if they quote verd or corrosion coins will be rejected makes it hard to determine what coins i should send for them to grade.

    There is currently a 1882 no H penny on ebay .I was interested until i looked at the pictures and understand its a very low grade.Has anybody any opinion as to why the coin was not rejected ,appears full of verd/corrosion.The uin on c.g.s. is 33327 although the sellers pictures show the verd much clearer.     Looks like bucks coins selling on commision and the owner doing the shill bidding,a lot of the coins/banknotes are not owned by them .they just set a reserve that they both agree on.
