Just sent an 1869 penny for grading it is uin 33297 hope it gets ef grade.Would like a better one but this will do for now

They maybe difficult to follow and the spelling /grammar really bad. Did no realise i had to be clever to go on the forum.Never passed an exam in my life ,apart from driving and aba coaching.Sounds strange if the posts i make are difficult to follow,i suggest you understand i am not the sharpest tool in the box.Warning points for being thick,no worries i have been hit with a lot harder

I would not say a bad word about anyone over a forum.I just feel that in a lot of coins advertised and resold it is a shame to see the up grade.I understand people in any business need to make a living ,but would like a bit of integrity.One forum member was kind enough to send me a mail ,a number of coins were sold at a recent spink auction.The grades and the amount the seller wants seem good business buy something for £600 and then resell for twenty times more. I love people making money ,however if i buy a coin and dont get what was described become dissapointed having to return it .Lately this seems to be getting more frequent. Be lucky .

Sorry what i meant is coins sent to c.g.s., that are rejected are stll graded and not given a value in their opinion.I could put a coin away for years and if spending a few thousand on a couple of pennies as i did last week would not want the person i left them for have a lot of junk.When i started this thread it was because even a novice like me could tell coins were not as described as they should of been and got Fxxxxx of keep sending them back.

Although the thread was about coins not even sen to c.g.s. ,When a coin comes back from them even if rejected they are still given a grade.They dont however put a value on i.e unc cleaned rejected

Yes coinery no problem with that.The post was made initially with coins not even sent to c.g.s. they were just obviously not right even to someone like me not right.

The supprised me post was meant towards comments you made five days ago not todays.. The coins were part of a batch looked at by people with over eighty years experience,I was amazed as they were ,however the coins were rejected.They were not purchased from neil/colin cooke.The fact you mention should of been spotted by an advanced collector i dispute.You mention in an earlier thread you have had coins rejected by c.g.s.or maybe i am mistaken maybe i am learning from your mistakes,did you get your money back? .I dont want to sound as if i am bringing up comments from five days ago and i apollogise but i am not an advanced collector.I am however someone who is willing to listen and learn.

Would not be fair to mention a dealer on an open forum the facts are the coins were rejected and my money refunded,as i mentioned although the coins had cost me about £600 and the seller disputed the rejections they were not what i wanted.I am sure they have now been resold and hope the purchaser is happy.The slabbing is my way of having a better knowledge that the collection is what i bought initially.Everyone is different but i will be sending another twenty or so pennies in the next week and only interested in grades of 78 or better.I would not be bothered or dispute a coin of less than £200 the grading is that strict that i check the coin thoroughly myself and then still get a second opinion,some can still be rejected.This means if the dealer is honest i would ask for a refund and hope i have a relationship and understanding that i have not touched or damaged the coin in anyway.

No they were not fakes and if you think it was quite decent of the dealer i cant believe. Would you buy faulty goods from a shop the seller gave me a refund straight away.I was still out of pocket with the grading cost but feel money well spent. Coinery you could not get your head round my coins from colin cooke sent to c.g.s..Is this because you have returned coins to them previously ?.

Nice some positives come from my post.I am really supprised some people look on the negatives,the post was not meant in that way.I was not here to name dealers with bad experiences.I have just sent back another three coins from a reputable dealer ,full refund but rejected by c.g.s.The three coins only cost £600 but although the dealer was fair ,could quite easily just put them in a tray.

Yes after my rant yesterday would like to say colin cooke coins have always been spot on and having slabbed over thirty i have purchased through them,all graded as they were sold to me.

Just been told its hard to make a living.Easy get another job.

Would just like to say and not being an expert. I am sick to death of returning coins that are overgraded. Well known coin dealers sending me coins that are e/f but describing them as unc.Worse still cleaned or junk ,however these dealers still want top price.

Daftest thing i have seen .

One point i feel worth mentioning .Had a couple of coins slabbed recently both graded 85 however do not feel the photographs do the coins justice.Only a slight moan but would think they could do better.
