  2. Your on the money hazelman, its finding some of the pennies in decent grades that is hard. Some i have been looking for a couple of years and spending more time on the coppers for that reason. Another one 1855 O.T. cgs 30997
  3. Slightly off topic but gibraltar commemorative coins can be bought in a couple of the banks on main street. Also if anyone is ever going Benzaquen antiques worth a look round as always has a decent stock of coins and banknotes. They are both only five minutes from each other and the shop only five minutes from the recently developed marina which has some nice bars.
  4. Can someone tell me what makes them that terrible colour ?.
  5. You deserve to find them scott and have a lot more patience than me. I only look for copper pennies of which there is never more than twenty a day and thats enough. You must look at hundreds as you seem to buy all types. Hat of to you.

  15. Not sure were you live but might be worth taking to a coin fair and letting a few of the dealers have a look in hand. Very hard to tell from the pictures and i feel it must of been removed ,but would be made up for you if not .
  16. Results are up for anyone interested.
  17. Chances are coinery if you get it ,will be at your top bid and not less.Yes, it's not very often I get a nice surprise with proxy bids! Yes i am laid up after an operation and ended up leaving a few bids. Unfortunately not the best idea, but i suppose it stops me getting carried away.

  19. Same seller thinks the 1916 is the recessed ear aswell, not looking at anymore daft thing is they have the book.

  21. Its not just you rob as i also could not log on.
  22. I think that a lot of the time the photos dont do the coins justice paulus. Also the pictures vary from batch to batch that i have sent and wish i had mine photographed properly before i sent them. Whenever i now buy one already slabbed i look at the blown up picture and if its looks nice always better in hand.
