  1. There is also according to cgs a 1926 3+B with small date. This is one i had never heard of.
  2. Thanks Mr T. Its been doing my head in for the last week or so and gave up reading about them, although this thread has started me off again. Mr schindler has a 1922 with dot although not sure on the different alloy theory . Pete
  3. Hi bhx. Welcome to the forum a lot of knowledgeable penny guys who have always been willing to help me. Jelida has got that spot on for you. Pete.
  4. Thanks for the reply as without your information i would not of had a clue.
  5. Its the same guy nordle his real name is stephen jerrams but known as john . For what its worth looks cleaned to me .
  6. Big hat off and sometimes we need another opinion. Although its not a coin for me well spotted. Pete.
  7. If he cant answer the questions chris people like me have no chance.
  8. Why it was brought to our attention by mr freeman would be interesting to get his view ?. Chris ,maybe you can ask the question.
  9. Good luck Pete so far it looks like you are alone in going for this. We will get an indication on the interest on this coin when bidding opens. You are going to see no trouble from me on this. Its not one for me can spend the money on other things mate. A guy i no though is keen and he has a lot more money than me
  10. You are the one single exception to the rule that I've heard of so far! Just sending a batch so need to keep her smiling
  11. Nothing wrong with semra she is spot on. Although i am sure she must smile at some of the posts on here.
  12. Your lucky to be in a nice part of the world to do it dave. Dont think it would look the same in salford.
  13. Just noticed your from aus garrett. I have just had a couple of lads ex- rugby players staying for a couple of week. Do you all eat so much or is it they are greedy ?.
  14. Well that one wasnt good enough either so will continue to look.
  15. Hi joe and welcome. Are these comics worth buying as i would not have a clue were to start. Pete.
  16. Not that generous coinery some like this i would prefer nobody to see. Hope no one on here is intrested
  17. Hi bunhead and welcome to the forum. Not my thing as prefer to look for the better quality ones, but just thought i would say hello. Pete.
  18. All the best gary and have a great day.
  19. Hard to tell really from the pictures think i can find a better one nordle but thank you anyway. I have a mate looking at one for me in the morning who i trust and hopefully that one will be ok.
  20. Thanks jac,i dont keep the coins here so will have a look next time i get chance.
  21. One of the ones i have is finest known and a good grade. Its got good lustre and looks nice. 1892 and cgs 33386. Its stopped me sending anymore as the pictures look almost black and white. Wasnt happy in general and sure they could take better pictures ,considering its part of the service they provide. Pete.
  22. Thanks paul the coin was graded 82 and quite nice in hand. I sent 22 last time and although was happy with the grades the photos were terrible. It makes it harder to resell some as buyers want the uin and in the process of having a lot of them photographed and wish i had done so before slabbing Pete.
  23. Does not seem to be much happening on the forum recently. One that is toned which normally i would keep away from as its really dark and the photo not the best. IMO is a nice even tone and a nice strike. 1861 F22 4+D and again c.g.s. 4231 Pete.
  24. Read the article with interest ,i have quite a few with the royal mint letters. Hard to put a price on a coin that is really looked at being a curiosity. For that reason you can get caught up in a coin you consider scarce but i feel the market is small and therefore does not increase the resale value.
  25. Get well soon Mrs peter and look after her when mrs peter comes home mate.Sure everything will be ok.
