  1. £5,250 UNC £1,100 E/F £800 UNC £1,150 UNC £1,050 UNC
  2. I assume these were not sent for grading and were already slabbed. Although c.g.s. SUPPOSEDLY knock the coin down on the grading for edge knocks.Surely if noticeable would show on the pictures taken before slabbing.
  3. Its not an open 3
  4. Thats nice danz
  5. That will never happen ozjohn ,its that side that have kept c.g.s going i would assume.
  6. Dingbat not heard that for ages ,made me smile.
  7. He is not going to be daft enough to show his face. They are just low life who hide from everyone
  8. Hi potlings and welcome to the forum
  9. Out of order, although would of thought he would of done them all on the same day.
  10. hi mark. The mistake (if it is one) has been made by three different graders . I was led to believe they are looked at by a grader and the details put on a system. This is then repeated twice by two other graders and if one grader rejects a coin that the coin is given a yellow ticket. If they are slightly different the lowest grade is attributed. This means all three graders put the coin at 80. Makes me have doubts in this instance. Pete.
  11. Yes i agree ,seems way off the mark.
  12. Having read your later post the ear does look flat and overall not really an attractive coin.Is this a particular year for a weak strike ?
  13. In my opinion the obverse 78/80 and the reverse 60. overall does not make any better than 65 e/f. Not knowing anything about half crowns i may be way off.
  14. Hi coppers tried the link but just says error. Is it me doing something wrong ? pete.
  15. Nice touch fishsticks and hat off. Pete.
  16. No i bought that from a dealer and had it slabbed
  17. Everyone to there own c.g.s prices are not the price that people tend to pay anyway, the price for good EF is £160. and just EF £100. Be Lucky Pete.
  18. The price of choice unc graded 80 is £400
  19. The 1841 has now had the c.g.s price increased to £750
  20. That seems ok with regards the price.Maybe i was being a bit low although having just looked at some auction results £40 + seems about right and suppose collectors of good numbers will always pay more regardless of condition. Pete.
  21. Looks to be only fine + and the unusual number i would estimate about £35. Good luck should you sell it and hope you get considerably more. Pete.
  22. A £1 note c--c must be beale
  23. Think the other thing to note. Its not the best picture and cgs to grade a copper penny at 85 the price goes as to what someone will pay. They are scarce in this grade as your aware. Pete.
  24. Thank paulus. Not the best picture but looking at the coin spot on. Pete
