  1. That one is spot on for looking at a full coin and for £10 not worth messing around. You can buy all sorts but for at home perfect. You would however look a bit of a NOODLE carrying one round at a coin fair as quite big
  2. Sorry Ian for any confussion. The thread i started last night i assumed was the same one as this The one i mentioned is a hand held magnifier for viewing a full coin.
  3. The one i mentioned at the start of the thread is spot on ,i have one i paid considerably more for. The one i mentioned was for my grandaughter as she now insists on using mine all the time (she is only three) and is perfect for a full coin and you dont need to use the light switch for it to work. The light is just an option.
  4. Common dates but both mint slabbed. 1962 CGS 80 UIN 23571 1965 CGS 82 UIN 16928 CGS say £45 for both. Happy with £20 including postage. Pete.

  6. I have five and just had a look at them. Needless to say they are all normal
  7. No its not for taking pictures or using with a computer. Just a nice large hand held one with An LED light with a couple of batteries. Nothing fantastic but much better than a loupe IMO easier to view with the large lens. The one linked to a computer that i have found best value for the money is the andonstar one for about £40/£50 I now a couple of people can recommend others but they are closer to £1k Thats more for close ups a microscope and will allow you to take and edit pictures of overdates etc. But not any use for a full coin. Pete.
  8. Received yesterday a nice magnifier. Big lens LED light and 10x magnification. Its hand held big and easier to use than a loupe. They are on amazon as...... Reading magnifier . 10 x 75 MM LED with two batteries . One of the sellers is 1 dealeben (i dont have a clue who he is ) just used him as an example who is selling them. About £10.99 but really good and large ,perfect for home use. I am not selling them but worth a look at. Pete.
