    Think your comment of more accurate and only talking of pennies the varieties is surely what counts.I dont intend selling mine they will be left .But i no i am not leaving a box of rubbish in a safe building up dust.I have numerous pennies sold to me by reputable dealers who missed varieties etc.

    Yes got to agree ,especially after sending so many anyway suppose you learn and not a big deal.Talking of c.g.s./london coins one of the coins i purchased at the last auction i phoned on receipt to say it was miss attributed.They said you should view the coins in hand and as i replied its not always possible however it was the wrong DATE.

    Yes you are right azda and that is the reason they gave me,when i phoned them regarding something else.

    The invoice came direct to myself with the uin numbers last thursday after having the coins almost a month.Although normally received them back after about 4-5 weeks in the past.

    Feel a bit disappointed as a mate dropped off over twenty coins for grading a month ago.Only just this week had any acknowledgement they had got them. Not even took the photos yet and although no big deal,not very good.

    Buy and enjoy collecting and keep smiling dont look at the investment as no gaurantee.The experts might make a good few quid and good look to them.I go with the opinion you have an interest and makes it interesting.If you do ok all the better but spending money on coins for an investment NO

    Yes paulus i am sure all of the rejects get resold ,without the problems mentioned. Thats why i am happy with the collection i have put together.I have about 80 c.g.s. pennies and although a couple may be suspect the majority i feel a dealer would describe better.

    A 1946 dot penny on ebay. The c.g.s. value is £16 and the seller wants almost £100.Although the coin was only graded fine if i was trying to sell it would of been broken out of the slab .I am sure with cgs strict grading a lot of coins are bought at e/f and resold at unc by numerous dealers/sellers on ebay.

    Wont bore you with the stories ,however they are true.The boys are back in town and waiting for an alabi .They are manchester tracks based on funny experiences i can remember well .Probably got the spelling wrong

    Paulus remember watching siouxsie and meeting her backstage.Was that out of it in my younger days stood waiting in the rain for some mates at the back door.Some guy let me in and still got the cig packet she signed for me.Did not see the clash but got a signed t shirt from joe ,a mate got me .Will always keep that the gig at hyde park was different league

    Remember watching slaughter and the dogs at wythenshawe and having stitches in my head after.Watching p.i.l. aswell and getting locked up. brings back memories of being daft.

    My fishing gear went beserk .Ended up having a big shop and going to belgium and italy buying tackle for a few years.How i wish i had bought a maggot farm thirty years ago.Although the amount of turnover is a lot less now,would of been a nice easy number.I worked on one as a kid that was owned by my mates dad.,When my mate died at 25 they were doing over two thousand gallons a week.A lot different now struggling to sell two hundred gallon

    As mentioned corrossion a different reason for rejection.If so would of fallen under CORROSION of which i have had coins rejected before.This coin rejected for FIELD DAMAGE Think coinery got the right reason

    Corrosion is classed as different rob and another reason for rejection.Thanks for the cats again
