  1. Dont have a clue what they are. If they are spot on they are quality looking
  2. Normally about 11.30 Monday
  3. Sure Chingford will know
  4. Just having a quick look they dont say its got a premium price wise ,which makes me think its not that scarce. What they have done however is mentioned the variety of which i am pretty sure must be acknowledged. Pete.
  5. Nice coin Badger. Paul i think if they have graded three you have answered your own question. They only tend to use varieties if they are referenced but can only comment on pennies, Pete.
  6. This one though anyone could spot. My personal opinion is they get that many its like a conveyer belt and to busy just putting then in slabs. None of the graders are perfect and mistakes are made. Although i think with CGS more often its a typing error and will always re attribute. The person doing the tickets is not a grader, believe me the main graders do understand the varieties of English pennies of which i can only comment on. Pete.
  7. Any forum members going tomorrow ?. I wasnt going too as only interested in a couple but might make the trip now Pete.
  8. Over the last few years not seen many go below low estimate at LCA Not having online bidding obviously works for them.
  9. In. Time to be part of the bigger picture
  10. Does that happen at LCA Matt
  11. Your bid can also relate to what the bidding starts at.. Ie. You bid £300. They start with your bid but at £280 .....someone in the room bids £300. They would take the one in the room.
  12. Forget the email Jon. You have left it a bit late and as you have not bid before better to check. I would phone as they might also ask for some card details if its an expensive coin should your bid be the highest. If two people bid the same ,they sell to the person who bid first
  13. I am also expecting to be there ,but got the boxing in Liverpool the night before and the wife in Spain. So anything could happen
  14. As an example i bought this last year . Halfpenny date they are quite rare. It has some faults but seen some worse. I would not like something really horrible but filled a gap.
  15. Thanks for letting me know. Hopefully everyone should of received them by now Pete.
  16. Nice clear date and quite easy to spot in that condition. Thanks.
  17. I wasnt looking at it from a buying point of view. Just thought it looked OK.
  18. Not my thing ,but why Jon Whats wrong with it ?. I would not really have a clue ,but looks ok to me
  19. Hi Colin. As i have one slabbed VF (CGS) would be interested to see the Picture from PCGS or the UIN. Thank you. Pete.
