  1. I have a batch of coins imo all good grades and searching on the internet and looking at previous posts wondered if i would be better to continue with c.g.s. Recently i aquired quite a few slabbed NGC pennies and will leave them as they are(i do buy the coin) and a couple MS65. Some however had verd and one a scratch on the coin not the slab, these i left alone. Do NGC not reject coins with carbon spots/verd ?. Also i notice if i put the uin on the website some dont come up ,and wondered if i was doing something wrong ?. Pete.
  2. Hi bhx7 Yes the price of between £60-£200 is right although recently an example probably finest known sold for well over £1k. Sorry no real tips unfortunately dozens of people look for scarce pennies on ebay so unless it was a buy it know and you spotted it the chances are other people will see it aswell. Good look with your search and hope you are lucky. Pete.
  3. Michael beat me to it.
  4. Hi the coins are not my thing but the pictures are good and for £28 cant be to bad. Sure someone will give you a good idea on the grades and weather it was a good purchase. Pete.

  14. Good luck Pete so far it looks like you are alone in going for this. We will get an indication on the interest on this coin when bidding opens. You are going to see no trouble from me on this. Its not one for me can spend the money on other things mate. A guy i no though is keen and he has a lot more money than me

  23. Thanks jac,i dont keep the coins here so will have a look next time i get chance.
  24. One of the ones i have is finest known and a good grade. Its got good lustre and looks nice. 1892 and cgs 33386. Its stopped me sending anymore as the pictures look almost black and white. Wasnt happy in general and sure they could take better pictures ,considering its part of the service they provide. Pete.
  25. Thanks paul the coin was graded 82 and quite nice in hand. I sent 22 last time and although was happy with the grades the photos were terrible. It makes it harder to resell some as buyers want the uin and in the process of having a lot of them photographed and wish i had done so before slabbing Pete.
