  1. Still a valid point ChKy. In the other post titled "A blast from the past" Gary 1000 said he was told some people send him up to fifty coins at a time. That tells me if they send fifty they must be dealers and are they resold with the repair mentioned ?
  2. I was looking for the original post earlier today,as remember how good a job was done.
  3. This post has gone quiet ,out of interest what grades were they paulus ?
  4. Its on the homepage again now .
  5. My guess and not much idea apart from the pennies. 1893 florin 75 1743 crown 65 1901 h/crown 75
  6. Thanks its given me something to look at . The 1866 is not the nicest coin i have seen and the picture of lot 2471 is a bit tricky.
  7. Yes the unbarred ones for 1882 are common
  8. Hat off Bob and well spotted
  9. Not yet tell him you have found a few more.
  10. I have stopped looking prax two many doubts to be spending £1000+ on something in a low grade. The one he mentions at london coins i wasnt convinced about either
  11. Good pictures and beat me to it.
  12. Just had to wind my neck back in.Sorry to say the earlier posts are correct and its not one.
  13. i have bought one of him recently just a cheap Freeman 78 but was good with the communication and sent me a couple of emails. Its worth that money but would not be suprised to see it go for closer to £450-£500
  14. Made me laugh that QUALITY
  15. That must be a typo dave ?
  16. I never have ,i dont tell them anything even if the coin has been graded before and just ask for an invoice.Just tell them you will pay but wasnt sure how much.
  17. Dont pay until you get an invoice, just ask them to mail you the final bill.
  18. Sorry in answer to your first question think they are scarce but seem to now be turning up more often as more people such as yourself start looking for them. With regards L.C.A. strong possibility the are hyping them up , as more are found the prices drop. There is obviously a lot more than the six in the satin book fifteen years ago.
  19. Think you better start looking for me , well done and good finds.
  20. Just thought i would look how much i paid for mine and that was £90 nearly two years ago.Makes me think you will probably have to pay about that for a decent one if not more.
  21. The 1926 penny is a very under-rated year and you seemed to have bagged a very high grade dolly there. Think nordle has been saving the hardest ones till last.
  22. Yes i noticed this last week but not an open 3. Its one i have not got and you will be lucky to have found one for £3 there must be plenty of people looking everyday as quite easy to spot. Hope it is though would be the buy of the year.
  23. Well if you sell some to me take it easy on the price.
  24. Nothing really for me over the last few weeks prax either .Bought a nice 1912 from sound on this forum JNCOINS and thats been it.
