  1. A few upgades purchased yesterday 1897 that is a lot better than the normal ones Not the best picture as just done on my phone.
  2. i asked a few people last week when i was getting them Asked a mate,my mum and my lad to go to the forum from there own computer they got the adds and didnt log on just as soon as they looked at the forum. I was with a guy yesterday who just reads it and says he gets the adds aswell now.
  3. But loads of people are getting them. Not just people who post they come up even if you are not logged in.
  4. It will if you go to the left/right of the submit or any other button. Good luck
  5. If you scroll above the add or below alternatively the submit or any other button part of it outside the add is a lighter colour if you put your coursor over it. Then it will work as normal. Alternatively smash the computer up and start again as i nearly did
  6. If you imagine the ads are still there Dave and scroll above or below or alternatively what you can see will still let you post. With adblock i still have to work around the adds......if that makes sense
  7. From the pictures the one on the left is better but if they were the right money just keep them both and dont buy another one.
  8. Was why i posted Dave and yes was a nuisance
  9. Yes your right Scott but over the course of a week or so more likely someone else will spot it and thats all it needs for the price to be high. RANG is just a daft word Mike for BOBO
  10. Maybe lots of people disagee but not a problem. Always happy to help a collector
  11. The prices you paid were after a listing of a week or ten days Mike ,gives other people the chance to have a look. The only way to buy something at the right price is to put in notifications / searches as BIN and have a look at wrongly attributed and buy them straight away. Otherwise people like me would of bought them two years ago . I have stopped looking for pennies now as have most ....but the only way IMO. If you spot something with ten days left......chances are i have aswell If your not bothered not a problem i found out myself the hard way. Ebay sells a load of RANG but if your looking for i.e. 1911 penny and want a gouby X look at the 1911 penny ones BIN If you want one i have about seven picked up this year ,the ones sold over a week or so people spot and pay £80 plus on average. Not being clever but other people are buying them and reselling all from bin. IF you want to compete not a problem............if you want something cheap BIN. My collection is complete as far as i want to take it and turned all my searches off as not interested in ebay. Be lucky. Pete.
  12. What is it Rob and is that a good one as looks it to someone like me who does not have a clue Also how big is it approx ?.
  13. Crow ....we are all collect-a-holic on here...its part of being on the forum
  14. Crow a full set should always work out cheaper than buying them individually , thats why ebay is full of them. What i meant is some collectors will pay a bit over the odds for the one they want as not bothered about the rest.
  15. I am not sure its done deliberately Mike as we are only talking a couple of pound. Its just they cant be bothered taking pictures of every coin so just use the same one. Hundreds of dealers on ebay listing 1961-67 pennies as just keep selling them.
  16. They are nice coins Crow. As you mention chances are part of the fifteen coin set. I only collect pennies so probably as always pay a bit over for the one i want. The full set you can pick up for £300/£400 so hope if the couple you bought are what you wanted and sensible money , your happy.
  17. Good your keeping a smile Matt i would of been pissed off. As i mentioned to you i bought one for a £1 you can see it on compleated listings and was sent a normal one. However not anywere near as good as yours. The red light was from memory he had sold the same coin and used the same picture a couple of days before.
  18. I have never been Leo. But think with costs to get in parking and more high end ,you might be better at Birmingham . Again i have not been but think its more the expensive range rather than the common ones and dealers get busy in the morning on the first day,so maybe not got the same amount of time to chat.
  19. Let me know when your back and will post them. If your on holiday have a good time
  20. Not the patterns Jon the models. I have been buying quite a few but getting them in high grade is not easy as think they were played with or thrown away. Also dont think like currency people put them away and not many collectors of them. You can get a couple of good examples for £20/£30 and think thats were most people stop. I recently bought a few just to get one in a job lot and the others low grade. If you want a couple Jon i will post them you FOC. But you might think they are RANG. Pete.
  21. Yes 100% ......although nothing else to go for
  22. Good topic and quality pictures
  23. They are what were doing my head in and adblock worked straight away
  24. A lot different and you should understand that . Three people giving an independent view on a coin and an auction house going through hundreds / thousands. Over and out before i feel bullied Pete.
  25. Sure everyone understands that Dave but you and most people on here does not pay the £99 so dont understand why your all bothered. If it was £1 or £1k you would not be interested so why keep going on about it.....
