  1. Thanks Matt will post you one on Monday.
  2. All the talk about Michael Freeman sale has made me look at a box i have. Mr Freeman first copy of ........The Bronze coinage of Gt.Britain was done in 1970. Before computers etc. I Have some original printing blocks that ......if forum members want one will sell for £25 each including postage. They are wood with copper and a chance to own a block you will never see again. I can only sell a few and your going to have to leave to me what i send as not taking pictures of all of them Pete.
  3. Snipe bid last few seconds everytime Cant see any other benefit .
  4. The 1954 and 1952 dont have the same clout as the 1933. Also if a coin unique hard to compare and sometimes better if a couple are known but i think both would make about £60-70 K today so about £70K each at a guess ?.
  5. Thanks Ian.....I should of taken a picture of the reverse but my pictures are crap Yes your correct and the P.T.
  6. One i bought a few weeks ago 1856 Penny not the easiest date to find in a decent grade.
  7. Its the same coin the beads can alter with the angle of the picture and light.
  8. I dont want to rant Brian ......but more defend otherwise it gets out of control with the high percentage of forum members always stating negatives. Be lucky.....Keep smiling and happy collecting
  9. Only money and i am not bothered about a few quid on grading fees. I do it for myself not you or anyone else
  10. That is the most positive comment you have made HAT OFF. So as collectors of which the majority of the forum are we should buy cgs slabs as they are cheaper. Thank you
  11. unfortunately you and others took it upon themselves to start having a go for no other reason than causing a fuss.
  12. Yes dear sir i understand that and you slab coins to benefit i also understand. But your a dealer so assume the benefit is mainly for yourself DEAR SIR.
  13. I am a collector and not a dealer.......again your not really helping yourself . your just saying the coins you sell are more expensive than if they were slabbed by somebody else. Pete.
  14. Its just a black and white picture that will always look different.
  15. Jaggy your a sixpence expert. You were happy with some coins you bought and sent them for grading. Some got rejected and then you were not happy If your not sure about your own knowledge why have a go at someone elses .
  16. Why i am defensive does not matter. Its the people who attack that do. Always tends to be bullies or people jumping on the band waggon.......i am not one. Sometimes better to say nothing than agree and some people have a go for no paticular reason.
  17. I am maybe naive but your slabbing them and would assume from your comments to make more money. That makes really good sense. Having a go at other buisness competitors doesnt and does not make you sound any better .....infact probably does you more harm and better not saying to much on a forum.
  18. Matt . Doesnt matter if you can view a picture or not in that everyone wants one. The point i am trying to make is CGS 80 Unc.......Roaded head knobs r ready Unc. Which would you buy if the same price.
  19. Please for just one second move away from cgs...........Please You have some nice coins and pictures plus a really good site. A lot of your coins are slabbed though.............WHY..... harp on and not agree you are making more money putting them in slabs ?. Your a dealer selling slabs............
  20. What is the buisness opportunity ? The people in the Uk just want nice coins at a sensible price . Its not rocket science and if that means they pay 5% more they wont lose any sleep. I.e. dealer says Unc £100......Slabber says unc £105. Take your pick
  21. I think you will find Jaggy the number of UK users on this forum who have looked at that or are bothered is ..........Zero.
  22. Reduce prices IF you want to send them and your choice only £15.75.....For three graders, photos ,slab etc...... i think thats cheap. You dont have to keep the coin logged or look at pictures ....it is what it is
  23. Guy is not about untill sunday
  24. Fortunately Jaggy i am in the Uk and people here happy to buy them. A nice coin is nice regardless ,all i was saying is people have more confidence to buy. A few years ago a freind who is a world wide banknote dealer told me i was mad having coins graded and slabbed. However a few months ago admitted he now has to have bank notes encapsulated to sell in most countries including the UK. Regardless of who grades them it is a market that will come to England in a much bigger way eventually......... IMO.
  25. Matt you state..........nobody likes them......thats your opinion and i take that on board. However lots of people do including dealers and people i speak to on a daily basis. Maybe it is the forum that doesnt and most have never used them, but believe me the users on here who actually post ....is a small number of collectors out there. I sold a couple on here yesterday and much easier to sell than raw coins......so must be some trust as can actually sell them without pictures. Or maybe its because i just like Semra
