  1. A classic die clog on that year, although not well documented. A good find! Keep the errors coming!
  2. I can literally see nothing there, and when you have to magnify that much just to see anything it seems pointless
  3. Gotta be logged in to use that Link Paul
  4. Fingers crossed for you Brian, it's definitely one to umm over! Keep us updated
  5. I didn't know any of these are worth something, thanks for the links bagerap!
  6. You did well to spot a dot flaw on that first pic! You normally need a very good look at the area between O and N to deduce it.
  7. I don't know what you're on about Paulus . . .
  8. Just to highlight the subjectiveness of grading, here are the suggestions of grades for your first coin Swanny; Your suggestion - GEF -GVF/NEF -EF -GVF/NEF -NEF
  9. For a comprehensive list of all the denominations I like to use Tony Clayton's site; Link Or a direct link to the price lists - Link Be aware that these prices need to be taken with a pinch of salt (I find). Second port of call is searching previous auctions (I like using LCA because it's quick and easy). You can search here for anything you like, just remember the final prices don't include VAT and comission etc. and the bidders will have taken this into account, so the prices might seem slightly lower than usual. Then, if you still need further clarification, check eBay for any finished auctions and you should have a rough idea of price of whatever it is you're looking for. Rarer examples need more digging though as there's less info out there.
  10. Not just that, but they've listed the 1904 that I've already bloody bought Link Here it is now.. (yes still slabbed I'm working up to it haha..)
  11. Where'd this estimate come from? Link Previous realised prices - £50, £60, £50 and 2 @ £110 (but clearly better examples).
  12. http://issuu.com/lc869/docs/a151_merged Thanks Dave, me being an idiot sorry!
  13. Does anyone know how to look at the whole list as it shows up in the 'Auction Highlights'? I don't want to download the PDF or Excel file and I also don't want to look at them by category?
  14. And totally agree with Mr. T, the lamination has peeled off and folded over on itself before being struck.
  15. Great little coin though, let me know if you get round to selling any of these pennies as I would be interested!
  16. Someone's got a biiiiiig job ahead of them! Good luck Dave!
  17. Thanks Pete Link (if anyone else wants it)
  18. Terry, or anyone, can you link to the open 3 on ebay? I'm surprised I haven't seen it from doing the dailies, unless I've skipped over it accidentally.. Thanks
  19. Yeah that guy has put up some stonkers, there's a couple of pennies I've got in my watch list right now..
  20. Post mint! I have a couple of those. Not exactly sure how it's done though. REDD - love that brockage, looks great. I sold mine last year and regret it, but I paid £100 on eBay and sold it to someone in Japan for £350, I couldn't say no at the time. It did get me a few extra dates in my date run though!
  21. Happy birthday Paulus! Have a good one
  22. Well spotted The guy was an idiot.
  23. I did wonder, but that's really good. Probably not so much for him having to lug all of that equipment around haha!
  24. Pete do you leave all your coins with him or do you take them to him to get the photos then take them away with you?
  25. The obverse on this coin does NOT match the reverse, not even close... Link
