  1. Works ok for me! New content is top right button with 3 horizontal lines, then activity, then unread content.
  2. Like you wouldn't believe, and the area I live in is the gothic quarter which is by far my favourite area of the city. There are buildings on my street that still have pock marks from artilery peppered across the faces, it's truly an amazing city
  3. Wow. Love a bit of art deco, the MOP inserts are amazing running down the side. So what's it made of, mahogany?
  4. Its not porn Matt and you have to be over 30 years old Goddam it, I'll pass then.
  5. Hi guys, what's on the cd, is it half pennies only?
  6. Well that's good news then aye! Cheers Dave. I have seen your mail Pete let me check, back in England now so haven't been checking mails as often.
  7. Oh bugger I just lost out on a copy of Peck I appreciate it, however it's now a wrapped Christmas present on its way to Paulus! Many thanks though
  8. Ps I do still get the message even after the reset
  9. Haha you could be right there! Only a good thing I imagine too Chris, the more information on this forum the more to be learnt!
  10. Very nice pennies but my god there's a hefty premium on them. With tax, postage and import duty from America they're hard to justify!
  11. Ditto here on my iPhone. When it happens I can refresh a couple of times and it kicks back in but I'm getting it a lot too.
  12. I would've but Paulus just nipped in!
  13. As per the title, if you're interested in it I'm only asking for the postage and it's yours. It was an early buy when I was finding my collecting area and could go to a better home now! It's in excellent condition too. Matt
  14. 1 in date over tooth and 1 in date between teeth? Hard to tell from the pics.
  15. Bernie, I also cannot see the bigger pictures when I click on them
  16. That certainly tells a story David! I would also go as far as to say that it is slightly broad struck as well, looking at 6 o'clock on the obverse! I finally got my 1934 in hand today and my god it's 50x better than the pictures showed. I'm also finding it hard to make it look as good as it does, but my pictures are certainly better than the sellers. Anyway, for £40 I am one happy customer
  17. Muuuuch better Dave. I also have to agree with you there Richard, it would become unpragmatic to start to define every different date space as an individual variety, especially as this is not a change in design. As Dave says I think it's just an attempt to take in more money.
  18. Maybe there is a gap?
  19. Amazing, keep it up Jerry these are some beauties!! I really like the tripled F, great buy
  20. Thanks Terry that's a great link.
  21. Haha yeah, they're becoming difficult to assign, I spent more time doing the 1882 than I did on the whole of George VI! Send 'em my way, my thinking is to add everything in one place so you can make your own decision on whether it is something you want to collect or not. Different people call different varieties different things, so I'm trying not to exlude anything at all! And happy Christmas to you too Pete. I get the feeling that not everyone shares your opinion but I would be a fool to lurk in the shadow because I learn so much on this site every day
  22. He's that type of guy, Pete. Responded to me within a few hours over a query I had about my F69, a year or so back. Top bloke. If you remember from the other thread too, he also signed his Gouby book for me before he shipped it!
  23. Yeah was really quick to reply, always very helpful.
  24. No need to be sorry about that! It certainly could be, but referring to my note just above I still don't think it can be assigned regardless of the 9, because of the positioning of the 4. Terry - please also see the thread regarding die craks, blobs etc. as I have posted a photo for your perusal.
  25. Well.......it might be a worn down die number. But more likely it's just a smudge of some sort. Very difficult to know. f it is a die No, what a shame it's worn down. Of course, they're as rare as hen's teeth, and you hardly ever see them for sale, even at the top auctions. Alfnail had a worn one up on e bay for £995 ( think Die No 4), but he withdrew and sold to a previous client. One of my biggest wants, an 1863 die No - not fussy as to which, or condition of specimen. It would have been a massive shame for sure, and after researching more about them to try and assign my coin I can absolutely confirm what you're saying, very very hard to find examples to compare to. Alfnail always has something for sale that's worth drooling over haha
