    Welcome to the Forum Kariios! This site specialises more in pre-decimal coins, but there is plenty of knowledge on decimal too. The quality control at the Royal Mint these days is abysmal, and these sorts of errors occur frequently. My guess is that you may find someone willing to pay more than 50p for it (plus postage), your best bet being the likes of eBay.

    Thin flan aside, I guess on eye appeal grounds alone I am massively turned off. Lots of gaps in James II for me, and I am sure I am not alone!
