  1. I agree 1949, 2000 is way too high.
  2. You are missing the point!
  3. I appreciate your response, but you are missing the point. It has nothing to do with rarity, it has to do with the variation in a price guide, and actual valuation of a coin. The price guide is always a historical reference, while actual valuation is whatever the market will bear...today. btw... the market sale price is not always up, it can also be down.
  4. You have to remember Pete, Spink is just a guide, and no more. The pricing in the book is at least 1 year behind valuation. due to research time, and publishing time. An example...a small date 1877 penny listed in Spink $1500 pounds(AF), I sold to a major player for $15,000! So much for Spink valuations.
  5. Good for you. And as far as CGS...who cares, that is a near defunct business.
  6. My copy is for sale at $900 on my website. The one you mention is a little high! LOL
  7. I own the other PCGS MS65 example. It is hard to photograph through the slab. It is a brillant example though!
  8. "Neither of our countries benefit from our politicians." Well stated Rob!
  9. Only one is a crook Scotty (Clinton). The other is a loud mouth! (Trump).
  10. ebay charges us a extra .40 or .50 cents to list additionally in the UK/Australia. When you search here, you don't see any uk items, unless they(uk) have paid for the international exposure. Going to ebay.uk shows all of the locally listed uk items though.
  11. MS60 on the Sheldon Scale is somewhere around EF or GEF in your grading. Little luster, if any, and distracting bag marks, etc, but still a very desireable coin.
  12. Reagon was down 10 points in the polls, 2 weeks before the election, and went on to win by the biggest landslide ever! It ain't over till it's over! There is even an outside chance, with the new allegations, that Clinton will withdraw, and Biden will step in!
  13. Dave, I like it. A modern update to a R&B classic!
  14. I liked Bernie too!.......
  15. So, you are a Democrat Vicky.....jk, just having a little fun with your rant!
  16. You have to have at least a 15% polling number to be invited to the debate.
  17. You have proved my point Jaggy. I admire you for voting though. A lot of voters will not be voting because they don't like the two major condidates.
  18. I think you have a good handle on it Jaggy. Both Parties would like to have different choices, but............
  19. He is a 3rd Party candidate, with little chance of winning. Most votes for him or the other 3rd Party candidate (a Lady) are protest votes. The person voting is showing their dislike for the two Main Party candidates.
  20. Ever since Clinton and the impeachment issue, our country has been bitterly divided along Party lines. Bush Jr made it worse, and Obama has led a directionless Presidency. In todays election I think most voters are voting against someone rather than for some one. I am supporting Trump. as the lesser of two evils. This has been the most unusual election in my lifetime....interesting though!

  22. "In my opinion the last constructive President was a common man, with no affiliation to the establishment, and who said it like it was, Ronald Regan" John, I like your comment. This has been a election cycle for the record book!
  23. Whoever wins it, is going to be sick, when they find out they have just purchased a worn 1851 farthing, at a crazy price.
  24. I guy I sold it to is a tax accountant, so that may well be! Ha,Ha!
  25. Thi is it. It now resides in the Isle of Man
