Somerset £1 notes with an AT prefix are worth not much more than face value. The close serial numbers you refer to confuses me a little. Are you refering to the partial numbering on the far right edge? If so that has nothing to do with the serial numbers and is more likely a number on the security paper sheets used to print the notes on. Unusual but would not add significantly to the value.

There are multiple variations on date width for the early bun heads Dan. Unfortunately they are all of the same value. The only rarities on date in 1862 is the smaller numerals type or the 8 over 6 type.

I sell these copper large sized ones for £70-£90 if cased, so you made a steal. The 1926 halfcrown looks a very nice example of a reasonably difficult to get coin (in high grades that is).

I emailed the seller a couple of pertinent questions and received less than adequate answers so decided the risk far outweighed the returns, although in the end if the coin is right somebody just stole it.

No problem. The 1818 is the scarcest and the 1695 is better than most for wear, the problem is that both appear to have been polished/cleaned in the past. A nice gun-metal 1818 would have been £150ish on it's own. The other 3 are all common and only worth anything above scrap in top grade.

Bought on ebay 29/03/13 for £761 and sold less than a month later for close to £500 profit, not a bad couple of days work I suppose!!!!

As a group you would be looking at around £200ish depending on who the buyer was. If I was buying I certainly would not pay any more than that for them. Hope that helps.
