Early poorly defined hammered deserve a bit of saliva and silver paper.

Not really Declan My 2004 Rotographic books Somerset A01 in AU £120. The reference RB194 refers. I started with 10/- notes after I was given/discovered a 1940 unopened wage packet. It had 2 10/- notes. I sought out more and also amassed £1 notes. The rare ones are replacement type with a M prefix. You get scammers in the note field with ironing being the main cheat. (surprising there are not more female collectors ) Maybe the rainbow coin boys might like to add notes to their collections. Now where did I leave my florescent pens?

I put 2x2 flips into plastic pockets. Britannia do 20 slot plastic pages for 3 holed albums. Numis mini wallets house 60 coins in 10nr pages. If you are worried about moisture store in the vicinity of a radiator and make liberal use of silica gel sachets. For any lesser coins I put into flips,ID them and store them in the boxes the flips came in. (Long boxes sourced from the US) It was handy working on a USAF base a few years back.

A normal self adhesive 2x2 flip do a nice job. If you want to get the coin out it is cheap (cost of 1 2x2) A capsule seems to be the poor choice between flips and a slab. I bought a few capsules for misc coins that are not cabinet,tray,flip friendly etc (ie large).

Well I've ordered one.The lighting will need a bit of work.It does look window cill friendly though for natural light plus I have a selection of twisty/magnetic LEDS.ETC Any varieties that require close ups can be taken with a manual set up/micro scope.

For £40 odd looks worth a punt. The stamp pictures look good.(I have my fathers collection that could do with a bit of attention) I also have my own banknote and cheque collections. Maybe a bit of experimentation on the coin lighting though. What is the problem with 3MB?
