    It sounds like an issue with the content if it is just affecting .PDFs and not other formats. Have a look here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-firefox-behavior-when-open-file You should be able to change the default program to open .PDFs to Adobe Reader rather than Firefox.

    I've bought a couple over the years but have bought mainly books from them and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone. Very friendly and trustworthy people, in my opinion.

    Are you interested in Arabic coins in general or is there a more specific aspect you intend to focus upon? I can send you a bibliography more focused towards examining them in Viking contexts if you so wish.

    There's Cambridge Coins that isn't in Cambridge...or Cambridgeshire... But it is close, just over in Bedfordshire. Then there's Gannochy Coins, but I wouldn't recommend them as the two times I've been in there I've been treated rather rudely - it's pretty central in Cambridge, not far from Sidney Street Sainsbury's in the back corner of a cycle shop. There's also Cambridgeshire Coins which I've no dealings with so do not know what they're like.

    Hmm. Thought the seller looked familiar... Looks like me deliberately buying the first fake didn't help stem things as this is now three from the same seller.

    I'd be careful about sending this coin to be repaired to the States as I'd not be satisfied that they have enough experience repairing hammered coins. There are a few people in the UK who have done good jobs - it might be worth talking to a few dealers about this first.

    A large proportion of medieval markets were on beaches. Always a good place to scout a hammy.

    This looks to be a class 10cf2 penny. It's technically Edward II but most references class it as Edward I. The obverse legend reads: "+EDWA R ANGL DNS HYB".

    I must admit their bullion can be attractive, but I still wouldn't purchase it for myself unless cheap.

    And it's being offered by one of our forum members. Looks like it has some deposits on the reverse, though.

    I get a 15% discount on FVF fees so selling on eBay isn't all that bad for me, but I only tend to sell stuff that's not in keeping with my website on there, e.g. modern coins or low grade.
