I'd go along with that Jaggy.

(One of London's 1913 sixpences is actually a 1912  )

Does anyone know the street address of London Coin Auctions...or do they even have a bricks and Morter location?

They have an office in Kent, but (currently) hold their auctions at a hotel in Bracknell.

New Ash Green
Longfield
Kent DA3 8JJ

Grange Hotel

Charles Square

Bracknell, RG12 1DF

I agree, lot 2912 is misdescribed. It is a 1912.

However, there are in fact four 1913 sixpences. Lots 822, 2913 (2 coins) and 2914.

I much Prefer DNW because you can actually bid live and know on the day if you've won. So i won't be bidding with Londons. I don't know why it seems so Hard for them to do some live Internet bidding, i Bet estimates and totals would be much higher with live online bidding.

I noticed the London Coins auction is now also posted on www.the-saleroom.com, although it's still not an online auction. I wonder if this may mean they plan on eventually making their auctions available online.

I hope so because a journey to Bracknell on a Saturday would be a nightmare for me.I would prefer to bid live as such.

It would also be more convenient for our US buddies. :)

So, anyone know when the auction results will become available?

They are usually available on the website some time on Monday afternoon, but winning bidders will receive an invoice by email.

I had email bids confirmed two days later - big improvement.

I might have won a couple of lots as two of my max bids were the same as the hammer prices. But can't be sure until I get an invocie e-mail from them.

Same for me, won one but two others are at my max bid so I may have won them.

I also have one lot listed at my max bid, so not sure if I won that? Two others are at lower than my max so I should have secure those.

I tried phoning today but no answer.

Get this. I received an invoice for 6 lots with all the details but did not participate in this auction at all!!!

Exactly! Good fun really. As long as I don't get a collections agency knocking on my door for the Total £ 3,914.79!!!
