Yeah really confused, I think so is he. Why's it got 27 watchers as well

This one came up as a suggested alternative to the link above

1918 penny different rock

looks like a interesting filled die to me, but don't think I'll be shelling out £199.99 to examine it more closely.

He just has a problem with decimal points - obviously missed the one between the 5 and the 0.

Or the one between the £ and the 5 ...

Oh come on! It's a £2 coin, so a rip off would be £5 not £0.5 surely.

The blurb is sort of amusing.

But it bemuses me that people don't seem to be able to work out how to turn an image around so the coin is the right way up. That I find irritating!

My collection must be priceless <_<

Somewhat disturbingly, if you click on the link to ebay, at the bottom of the page eBay brings up a few suggestions that you might be interested in. Top row is a run of smooth worthless pennies.

An intelligent promotional system would realise that I am not interested in crap. It should be able to make a connection between crap descriptions, not pictured items. That would also reduce the number of options available - washers are everywhere, but amusingly described washers are considerably scarcer.

I wonder if in time we'll get variants of said grade, smoooth grade being good smoooth and smooooth grade being Near smoooooth :D

But we already do. M(ostly) S(mooth) with variants being from 60 -70(%) on said deficiency.

Oh dear are we starting to get fakes of rare bronze now?

this is a rare coin with a mintage of just 250,000, and poor survival rate in the tropics - but this 4 Bese of Italian Somalia has to be cast surely

a real one in high grade here

The listing certainly has a 'recently manufactured' look about it.

If it is that rare, it should be possible to tie coins to past sales. i.e. provenance (yet again)

V.E. III's coins are the most falsificate in Italy because there are a lot of collectors and in genaral have high prices .. However It's strange because this coin is rare but not too muchu

Well if Londons can't determine it, how can he, they normally scrutinise everything. Here's the one I got, seems a lot more clearer to me, hence the reason I found his eBay auction then the Londons one
