Diaconis Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 It's an old one but it did make me laugh out loud when I first heard it. 2 3 Quote
Peckris 2 Posted August 13, 2018 Posted August 13, 2018 Looks promisingly hilarious - sadly I don't have 41 minutes to watch it, not right now. 1 Quote
mrbadexample Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 At what point do you start to think "it's getting a bit narrow down here"? Lynton / Lynmouth on Sunday. 3 4 Quote

Brilliant. Talking of squirrels, I wish I'd had my phone handy a couple of months ago when a squirrel dropped into my garden and the cat went after it - hadn't a prayer as squirrels are ultra fast. But the way she ran round trying to catch the darting squirrel, and then partially up a tree before giving up looking crestfallen, was comic. Quote

Reminds me of when I was about 13 or so, and my Mum, Dad, sister and I went to Bournemouth on holiday. Whilst there, I bought a novelty ash tray in the shape of a skull for My Grandfather (called Fred) who was a heavy smoker. On the ashtray was written, "Poor old Fred, smoked in bed". Being a stupid immature little brat, I thought it would be a great idea to give it to him for his birthday. I was soon dissuaded from carrying through the initiative, and had it on my bedside table instead. I think they call it gallows humour. 1 Quote

Just the usual blank screen I'm afraid Paddy. Couldn't you try Dropbox? That works for me. Quote

Rob Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 Stuff to make you laugh? Watching Pointless whilst eating tea this evening, one of the questions was anagrams of TV shows. Only 90 people out of 100 were able to identify QI as one of the answers..... 2 2 Quote

Even if the other 10 had never heard of QI it doesn't take a great stretch of intellect to realise that there is only one possible anagram of "IQ" ! Edited November 25, 2018 by Peckris 2 1 Quote

I think the real problem was that anagram is a 7 letter word. In the world of Sun crossword answers, that wouldn't physically fit the grid. Edited November 25, 2018 by Rob 1 Quote
