  11. Mainly i feel because ebay is such a huge coin market people are looking for something for nothing and think everything is cheap. The coins you mentioned the average person (inc.me ) would not have a clue about and will just buy it for £+++ think they have got a bargain ,put it away and look for another coin thats cheap. Sad and pisses me off , if you look at anything on ebay not just coins its full of sellers trying to have people over Well spotted though and thanks for posting them. Although not my thing you have some lovely coins for sale on eBay......Your obviously one of the decent sellers so HAT OFF to you Pete.
  12. Both the coins are on the site
  13. Can you tell us what the variety is please Peter ?.
  14. Thanks Zoo i was looking to see what varieties they have done on the date since and what yours looked like. The farthing i think you must of sent on another occasion as i cant see that one I cant see any others in the batch you sent that are not correct ,maybe the detail does not show clearly enough on the picture.
  15. Hi Zoo . I dont know anything about shillings but what is the UIN please. Pete
  16. Thanks Bob and atleast it was only a cheap one out of some they got wrong It just made me think if they have a preference for certain types but probably not.
  17. It may be how they are viewed Mike but feel its more lets look after each other ,you cant submit one raw and you cant send one unless its in a slab with the companies we have a pint with.
  18. Atleast in the uk you can submit a coin to auction regardless of weather its raw or in any companies plastic. The Beast.
  19. Out of interest Bob why did they split them and did it follow a pattern ,such as varieties better ones etc went to one or was it just to keep them both happy ?.
  20. Its not that i am loyal Sword everyone puts there coin into something. I would like to think i can tell the difference between a UNC penny and an EF one. However my five year old grandaughter is still getting to grips with grading
  21. Think we are forgetting something here.....The coin If and its a big IF somebody here in the UK was to send coins to Heritage they would have to be graded ,so you would take your coin out of your capsule and they would grade it. The coin is still the same one ,so should anyone in England choose Heritage to sell there collection they do exactly the same regardless weather its in a different slab or a coin cabinet they take it out and send it..I only know of one person in the UK who has sent a full collection to Heritage so i dont think it effects the majority of collectors. The number of people who send coins to cgs on the forum you can count on one finger .the others dont post anymore. As far as this forum 99% dont send them to anyone and i also have a collection that is raw. MARK FLORIDA.....Welcome to the forum you are obviously very knowledgeable and i would like to hear your views and comments on all the other threads .The most important thing about the forum is coins and IMO not what it goes into as people have all types of capsules, envelopes, boxes, cabinets and slabs. Pete.
  22. I dont have a clue about sixpences but cannot believe how many different types there are. The English grading company has 29 varieties Sure someone will help you out
  23. You will know Jerry after the F28 you bought that gave me a headache thinking it was a F20
