  1. Bought an 1896 as although not into date widths this one looked wide without a lens. After buying it did a bit of looking on recent auctions etc and sent a few emails. A couple of people have had it recently who had not seen one before in reasonable condition GEF and maybe was a bit expensive but happy to keep it. The coin is in gouby as BP1896Ad and dont think they are common so wide a date.

  8. Should of looked first but the 1983 there is hundreds on ebay Anyway they are between £15-£30. So for both including the £2 silver and including postage still a good deal. Pete.
  9. 1983 £1 silver proof ,red box. 1994 £2 silver proof , green box with COA Bank of england . Not my thing but told the 1983 quite scarce. £30 postage paid. Pete.

  12. Yes a really nice one i cant find one close to that Must be spending to much time looking at the teeth ,although easier to see with the comparison.

  15. Hi Guy this post would be better moved into the wanted section. Also the vast majority of people on here dont use C.G.S. and therefore dont have an account . You would for future reference be better rather than using the code/ref numbers describing the coin. Pete.

  18. The Silver ones were probably more then than you just paid All the ones i have sold were cheap but i dont want to keep boxes of things to just collect dust. Pete.

  21. Good you posted. Would just say i have never seen a collection like i was shown today and blew my mind. I thought i had some nice ones ......But now a bit negged out. Sure your knowledge would be interesting to any collector. The coins across every denomination i cannot comprehend. Thank you for sharing your time for a couple of hours this morning. Pete.
  22. Never Pete always looking for the best Joking aside it depends how much they cost me The 1908 i bought today i doubt i will find a better one and not a lot of money.
