    Yes i bought one off ebay . Only a low grade so just put it away and no pictures. It was item number 291557646829. I had bid on the one in LCA ,will probably get blown out now

    Nice coin the top one i assume is more of a likeness and would be the one i would keep. The one below appears a bit dark ,but why you have the coin in hand your the best person to decide. To make a decision i would say a picture between the two

    Not to worry Brian ,think probably everyone on here who collects pennies has bought a variety at sometime from a bad picture ,hoping its one they are looking for. Only to end up being garbage . Better luck next time .

    I saw some pictures a lad was doing with a cheap one in the pub a few weeks ago,he had only paid a couple of pound for it and the pictures were really good.

    Some nice pennies and that one catherine with the colon much scarcer in that grade as you will be aware. I have a nice 1841 no colon its the one as my avatar pretty much full lustre graded CGS 85.

    Only buying copper/bronze a lot have an almost pink colour due to spending to long in something acidic such as vinegar. The small scratches is a giveaway along with the fields being different to the devices such as lettering etc.
