  8. Your getting a bit picky now Jon How things change from buying............RANG TANG
  9. The second one is a real flaw rather than a dot, however in a different position than the normal dot as you said. Prax have you seen any of the flaws on other 1897 dates ,such as the normal one. If you have forty DOT ones it no wonder people are stuggling to find them
  10. Which is why i said Swanny its an opinion ,i have sent over a hundred pennies and will send a few more this week
  11. Forget finest known.........we all Know it means nothing What i meant john is CGS have graded to date FOUR different types /varieties of 1920 Half crowns. Some of the others are graded a lot higher and would assume a lot nicer ....i would hope so . Weather you would use CGS or not is your choice Is yours just the standard one ,if there is such a thing as i doubt many other TPG notice different types. Although i maybe/probably .......... wrong I dont want to get involved and just giving an opinion, however can i ask how many you have sent them ? If the answer is none then to say they are rubbish might be a little unfair. Pete.
  12. Its CGS ......Variety 4.......... Swanny. I dont have a clue about them but assume this is scarcer than the other 1920 Half crowns ?. Doesnt look the most attractive reverse
  13. Was GIven away a couple of hours ago as posted

  19. Cheap and cheerfull Paul but will do a job for £10
  20. Wish i had found the same one a few years ago for £10. Also Ian worth looking at the coin for grade then switching the light on as will show any marks better. Pete.
  21. That one is spot on for looking at a full coin and for £10 not worth messing around. You can buy all sorts but for at home perfect. You would however look a bit of a NOODLE carrying one round at a coin fair as quite big
  22. Sorry Ian for any confussion. The thread i started last night i assumed was the same one as this The one i mentioned is a hand held magnifier for viewing a full coin.
  23. The one i mentioned at the start of the thread is spot on ,i have one i paid considerably more for. The one i mentioned was for my grandaughter as she now insists on using mine all the time (she is only three) and is perfect for a full coin and you dont need to use the light switch for it to work. The light is just an option.
  24. Done and welcome to the forum. Do i get something FREE in return
  25. I have five and just had a look at them. Needless to say they are all normal
