Welcome Nemo. Probably the best bet is to head down to your bank and ask for them, they should oblige.
If you get them elsewhere you might find that you pay more than 2p for a 2p
Jesus, blink and you'll miss it. I think it had had 3 or 4 views on the counter when I bought it, you must've searched just as it was listed!
I'll report back when it gets here, sorry he blocked you're attempt
A nice surprise earlier today, thought I'd do a quick check on the newly listed and this was the newest listing -
£3.25 BIN with free postage to Spain, bonus!
Nice of you to poke your head in Neil! But really, congratulations and every bit of luck in your endeavours, if you weren't already drowning in coins you certainly will be now lol
Great minds, Paul! I tried and unfortunately you do get the lines on individual letters. I did think about it for 10 minutes or so but couldn't think of a way to add grades without a letter in every other word flagging up lol. F, EF, UNC are the offenders.
ANACS and BTNA are good ones, adding them now!
Thanks

I made them all short links so if you hover over them it shows you what that means. Common sense to all the regulars, but when I started it wasn't so easy learning the names of the TPGs etc. Just thought it would help newer members.
What that why it was rejected? I thought it was because of the scratch (which Swanny says wasn't there before he sent it).
It's a really nice token though Paul
It was more a time-stamp so you could look back on BBC iPlayer, but glad a few people got it at the time.
It was pretty interesting to see, although I was expecting them to pull out 4, 5, 6+ fakes from £2,500 worth of £2 coins and not just the one.
I think it's called the Blakesley effect (?) it should 'mush out' the side opposite to the clip. Looks genuine to me too, the beading is faded around the clips which is a good indicator, and if you've already tested and another 10p fits into the clip nicely, I wouldn't hesitate to say a mint error. Couldn't disagree with VS' value, around 5-10 quid sounds about right.
