  1. Itsoinds like an encapsulating problem as thisis an early UIN. Oh dear
  2. That is worrying though ...that no mention is made of this very obvious edge knock....they cant have missed it... Sold for £900, ouch someone might be disappointed if they never saw that knock
  3. I did write to the seller to say the same thing Rob and he wrote back and said "No idea if it's a copy"
  4. No mention of the word "COPY" here 181676779661
  5. Mint error apparently 301544852890
  6. I'm sure i've seen this one recently somewhere
  7. Thats a hell of an estimate £1500 with the juice if it realises the estimate
  8. These gothic crown fakes are very very good, until we can pin down the exact points of working out how To spot One the ONLY other suggestion (if you bought it) would be to send it to CGS seeing as You know the dealer i assume he'd take it back if it were found to be fake. The price seems good, so its a tough call. Ask him where he bought it/got it, was it part exchanged for something, does He know how to spot a fake etc? If not, how does HE know it's genuine, explain your concerns. Caveat, if the price is too good to be true then i'd still be wary
  9. The seller has been spoken about on here for this very reason. I bought a couple of coins from there a while ago and never went back because of the overgrading
  10. I'm surprised he did'nt pick up on the tooths error then, he would have crucified me for that one
  11. Well if you can't beat them, join them. VILL NOVI CASTRI?
  12. Ooooooh where is Peckris to correct the spelling lol, hope the old boy is ok, not seen him around for maybe 10 days. Anyway Prax, 20 tooths? Should'nt that be 20 Teeth you'll get used to people correcting the English around here, normally Peckris does it for me
  13. Grades for each coin?
  14. No, just the insane price Mark
  15. 1854, 62, 63 and 68 from memory are all rare dates for florins, the 54 and 63 the rarist and from those 2 is anyones guess as to which is rarer than the other.
  16. Don't CGS photograpph all the coins? If it was at a lower level then perhaps not, but like ANY TPG they could just say it was'nt like that when they graded and set it in the holder
  17. Small picture i know, but is this an open 3?
  18. Well Rob I think there is a lesson there. If it really is choice overbidding a little may be no bad thing. After all they don't make em any more. Suppose the art is to separate the good from the 'also rans'. Of course I'm know im not teaching you anything you don't know. Mark I see Mr Platt bought a little something from You Mark, wonder what he's gonna do with that watch this space
  19. Our favourite seller/overgrader i's at it again 111602871348 This is apparently GVF so we can see by him Inserting the ebay price guide for VF and EF which Way he intends to be going with it, obviously Looking for a 4 figure sum On this NVF coin
  20. I want a mint state Godless and haven't seen one in the past 6 months. I thought I just wasn't looking hard enough. Hello Potlings. I'm also on the lookout for the same
  21. This one was in a DNW sale last year, described as EF or slightly better with a 150-200 estimate, i was interested until it reached the dizzy heights of 700 hammer
  22. Hence the reason Rob beat me to that Liz 3d this week. I got the attached in a job lot of 7 coins, the others were also high grade but i was mainly bidding on the florin, the rest had no interest for me, so selling those off reduced the price of the florin
  23. A sensible priced Peck? £100 is usually the norm
  24. The Una and the Lion looks a bit ropey
