    The rare proof is Matte, so yours is most likely the regular one. CCGB 2 years ago was a bit conservative on the non-proof, £60 BU compared to £40 for proof. Yet Spink way back in 2005 had the proof at £40 also, but even back then, the non-proof was £75. Now it would be at least £100 I'm thinking. Spink 2013 has the proof at £50 and currency at £150

    Surprisingly it was 60 Fahrenheit here in Munich Christmas eve and Christmas day. Apparently the hottest on Record for those 2 days, shorts and tshirt weather and not a Christmas Jumper in sight

    Send it to CGS in London (Coin Grading Services) it will come back in a slab and you'll have definate Peace of mind that its authentic or not

    The warning signs should have came at the price you paid. £310 is fairly cheap if it were genuine.

    You'd 1st of all need to prove both are one Nd the same person and prove that the coin came from him. If he has the same address then its down to eBay also to Show what other username he had and also prove the coin was in fact fake which would me having it authenticated/ or not as the Case would be. It could take a while and a bit of cash, but if you're prepared for the stress then go ahead,but only if you're sure its the same person. His username would be good for others here.
